June walked into the room and smiled. Rachet was sitting on the couch as he signed to Cassidy. The girl smiled as he fumbled with his fingers. He smiled a little as she helped him. June walked over and sat next to the doctor.

Cassidy stopped her signing briefly to wave at her in greeting before continuing on. The nurse watched and smiled as she only caught a few words. Ratchet chuckled softly as he watched the young girl. Cassidy was going a mile a minute, talking about random things that Bumblebee did or something Miko did to make her amused. The doctor gave her a look letting her know she had lost him. June smiled and looked away to keep from laughing. She soon stopped, noticing Ratchet's look, and blushed, setting her hands in her lap before mouthing a 'sorry'.

The doctor smiled a little and gently ruffled her hair.

"Don't be sorry." He muttered. "You've had a lot more practice."

"Sorry..." June said still smiling. "I was laughing at Ratchet, not you." The doctor looked over his shoulder at her and gave her a funny look.

Cassidy's cheeks continued to stay red, still feeling embarrassed, before starting to sign again, slower this time.

"We're back!" Miko yelled as they heard a car door slam. Ratchet sighed in exasperation and face palmed. They heard more doors open and close as the others got out and started talking. Cassidy smiled at Ratchet a little, wondering briefly if he liked her more than the others just because she was mute, but quickly let the topic slide. The doctor noticed a strange look come over the girl's face but he couldn't quite read it. He furrowed his brow and was about to ask when the others came running up the stairs.

"What are you guys doing?" Miko asked as she plopped on the couch next to Cassidy.

Cassidy smiled, waving at Miko in greeting. Raf and Jack joined them as the others talked on the main floor. The kids were mostly talking Cassidy about their trip to the mall with their guardians.

"How did you end up with all the kids, Doc?" Wheeljack smirked as he came up stairs.

The older man just glared at him in annoyance. Cassidy smiled at Wheeljack as she listened to Miko talk about something she and Bulkhead did, before looking over at Ratchet and noticing his expression.

"Hey kid, do you want to see the Jackhammer?" The wrecker asked as he looked at the girl.

"W-w-what?" The doctor stuttered.

"Aw come on Doc, you don't like the kids anyway." Wheeljack said. "We'll just have a little fun and be back." She realized the Jackhammer had to be his cybertronian ship. Seeing no real harm in it, she nodded.

"Oh no!" Ratchet said as he got up. "She isn't going in that contraption." He growled.

"Come on." Miko said as she got up. "She can't just stay in here all the time with you." Cassidy blushed again, not wanting to be the reason they were fighting.

The doctor glanced at her and mentally scolded himself. He wasn't her father. If she wanted to go it was up to her. He looked back at the wrecker and narrowed his eyes, before limping away. Cassidy frowned a little, but followed Wheeljack to his ship as Miko was talking excitedly. They flew high in the clouds and accidentally ended up on the Nemesis' radar, causing some decepticons to track them down and try shooting them out of the sky. After some fancy flying Wheeljack managed to shake them. Miko thought it was awesome, but Cassidy was just glad when they landed back on the base.
