dongmin and i have never really ever been anything but protecter ​and protectee.

after all he was only sent here to keep me safe, so nothing​ else ever happened other than him just being protective.

which is what he was told to do.

in hell he would run errands, for satan and other demons.

he worked very closely with lucifer, satan's son. which is how he ended up coming here.

lucifer had been told that his father needed a group of trustworthy demons to go to earth.

so naturally lucifer sent his closest friend to his father, and that's how twelve-year-old jihyun woke up to a demon in her room.

it's not the best story but it's ours, and we make of it what we can.

twelve-year-old me ended up becoming friends with a demon.

a friendship which would probably last an eternity if dongmin had any say in the matter.

and i wish he does...

i wish somehow dongmin and i could be stuck together for all eternity.

but eventually i'll die and dongmin will go back to being the devil's errand boy.

i'll just be a memory.

a fragment of nothing, but a picture in the back of dongmin's mind.

that's what i fear the most.
