Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Jacobs Date. With a twist

(A/N, I know I haven't written anything about the letter that Jay wrote to Rebecca, but don't worry I have not forgotten one bit, I just haven't found the right moment to put it in, but it should be appearing soon)

Rebecca's Prov

Zachary and I spent the rest of the morning talking about pointless things in the shed I was tempted to share my story with him because he shared his but I honestly wasn't ready.

"Hey Rebecca?" Zachary said

"Yea?" I asked

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"For listening I know you still don't like me and all, but I'm thankful that you took the time to listen to my story" he said

"Zachary it's not that I don't like you, it's just when you yelled at me you had this expression on your face and it honestly freaked me out I wasn't mad at you, I was scared of you" I whispered

He pulled me onto his lap and held me close to him.

"I'm sorry Rebecca, I didn't mean to scare you, it's just the whole Laura subject gets we all riled up and to be honest you and my father are the only ones that know everyone else has no idea, all they know is me and Laura broke up because she hurt me" Zach said kissing my head

"when you're ready you'll be able to tell them Zachary, I understand what you're going through in a sense it takes time to heal no matter how long it's been" I replied

"Are you ever going to tell one of us what happened to you?" Zach asked

"Eventually, but not now it's too soon to talk about it" I said

"I get it Rebecca"

"REBECCA, ZACHARY!" We heard Logan and Alexander call

"WILL BE OUT IN A MINUTE" Zachary called

I got off his lap quickly and reached down to help him up

"Shouldn't it be the other way around?" he asked smiling

"Usually, but I'm the stronger one so it works this way" I smiled

"Oh really" he smirked getting up

He grabbed my waist and slung me over his back.

"HEY PUT ME DOWN IVE GOT NO PANTS ON ZACH, ITS NOT FUNNY" I yelled

"It may not be funny to you, but I've got a great view from here" he said patting me on my rear

"ZACH! stop touching my butt" I  said hitting his butt

He leaned down and picked up the blanket we were sitting on and slung it around my back covering my bum

"Better" he asked

"No I'd like to get down" I said annoyed

"Not until you say I'm the stronger one" you could hear the smile in his voice

"Not going to happen, I'm not about to lie, didn't anyone teach you lying is bad?" I smirked

"Oh if that's how it's going to be then look like you're staying up there for the rest of the day" he laughed walking towards the house after closing the shed (it automatically locks)

To be honest I wouldn't have had a problem with it if it wasn't for the fact that I had things to do
