With the ISBN decision now made, you are now prepared to upload your book. The setup process on Createspace follows a linear path. First you fill in the title, author, series information, the ISBN (which cannot be changed, so make sure you enter it correctly), then you need choose the print size of your book, and upload your manuscript as a pdf file. Finally, at the last stage, you need to choose whether you will have a matte or glossy cover and upload your cover file, also as a pdf. Once you have gone through all these stages, you can then go through the completion of the setup and upload your files to Createspace, which can take some minutes.
Once that is done, your files will go through a review process by the technical printing team at Createspace to make sure you have prepared your files correctly for printing. They may come back to you with things you might need to change, (i.e. dpi being too high for internal images - for example, your author photo - which means you will need to downsample them), once you have fixed these issues you need to upload your new pdf file and wait for them to go through the review process again. Only once your files pass the review process can you then order a printed proof to check your book for how it looks as a physical copy.
