Nandini POV end

"Hari Shiv Ramu sab idhar aao .. Time kam or kaam jyada haii " Nandini's dad excitedly shouted when his phone rang ..

"Yeah Anmol " He said picking his call up .. Anmol is his PA ..

"Sir sorry to disturb you but ek ladka aaya haii interview k lie .. Uske paas aapke signed letter v hai .. But humare company me to koi interview hi ni haii .. " Anmol said from other side

"Achha naam kya hai us ladke ka " Ram said being confused

"Manik .. Manik Malhotra " Anmol replied

"Manik .. Achhaa arey to lo uski interview .. Boards member ko avi inform kro .. And yeah office k baad sab yaha ghar pe aajana .. Take Manik also with you .. Ek chhoti si party haii ek bade khusi ko celebrate krne k lie " Ram informed happily

"Okay sir .. Thank You .. Will be there " Anmol replied genuinely

"Don't forget to take Manik with you" Ram again said

"Yes sir .. I will .. U don't worry" Anmol said before hanging up the call ..

"Nandu khush ho jayegi usse dekh kr " Ram said and got busy with his works

30mins ago .....

Manik reached delhi airport .. Ignoring the traffic he directly reached his destination ... Well he wanted to go directly Moorthy Mansion .. But address .. So he went to office direct ..

The interview continued for some 2hrs .. Then the board tell manik to wait for tomorrow then they will reveal the result .. Manik nodded and came out ..

"Umm Manik " Anmol called Manik as soon as he came out ..

"Yeah"

"Aaj Moorthy mansion me ek party haii or sir ne kaha hai tumhe sath le k Jane ko .. So u have 4hrs .. Office band ho raha haii.. As u said k tum Mumbai se aaye ho so avi mere sath chalo mere room me .. Will go to the party directly from my house .. What's say " He suggested Manik .. Well he is really kind and friendly ..

"Thank You so much .. Baht help ho jayegi meri " Manik said genuinely and then they left for Anmol's house ..
Evening 7pm

Moorthy Mansion was all set to welcome its son in law ... Guests are started to arrive .. Nandini's dad & mom were busy in welcoming the guests .. But Nandini , she was missing ..

"Aunty " Cabir spoke diverting Mr Mrs Moorthy to him .. Both the families greeted each other ..

"Uncle " one more voice came .. And all of them looked at the owner of the voice ..

"Manik " Nandini's Mom was shocked to see Manik there ..

"Arey Manik .. Come here .. " Nandini's dad greeted him

"Hello uncle ... Helloo aunty .. Nice try meet you " Manik said smilingly and they both smiled back at him .. Nandini's mom hugged him first saying "nice to meet you too beta "

Then her dad hugged him "thanks for coming ... "

"Dhawan meet Manik , Nandini ki dost .. Bada honhaar ladka haii .. Aaj hi interview tha uska .. I hope boards ko v wahi dikhe Jo mujhe dikh raha haii " Nandini's dad said proudly .. Manik was overwhelmed by the love and respect ..

"Nice to meet you Manik .. Agar negative aaye results to mere company ki gate tumhare lie khooli haii .. " Mr Dhawan said and Manik smiled
"Manik tune bataya q nahi tu aaraha haii or Nandini kya usse pata haii ??" Nandini's mom asked with concern .. She knew Nandini's dil ka haal very well .. But she can't be rude with Manik also .. Galti uski ni hai ..

"Nahi aunty .. Socha surprise dunga .. Hai kaha wo ??" Manik asked searching here n there

"Arey haan princess parlor se wapas ni aayi ?"  being the concerned father Ram asked

"Nahi uncle uska call aaya tha .. She will take more time .. You know how she is .. Truely a Drama queen " Cabir spoke for the first time .. And Manik looked at him .. Their eyes met ..

"Hye .. I am cabir .. Or nandini ka hone wala husband " Cabir said forwarding his hand and Manik's face color changed instantly ..

Manik POV

I was so happy .. Finally I am going to meet her .. I reached Moorthy Mansion with Anmol .. And wow .. Only this word came from my mouth .. I searched for Nandini but found Uncle Aunty their .. I went to him to greet them .. Aunty looked shocked first .. Then hugged me affectionately .. Then Uncle appreciated my skills .. I feel so that overwhelmed .. Then finally I asked aunty about Nandini .. But then the guy named Cabir came and took my breath away ..

"Hone wala husband " mu heart broke , I don't know why ..

"Manik ... Manik Malhotra " coming from the heart break I introduced myself shaking my hands with him ..

"Tum log baate kro .. Excuses us " Mr Dhawan said and they all went to greet other guests ..

"So ??" Cabir asked

"So ??" I asked being confused

"Where is ur gf ??" He asked me and I was confused "Nandini k frnd ho .. To wo bata ri thi"

"We broke up " I replied

"Ahhh don't tell me u mistook ur attraction as ur love " Cabir said with a serious face

"Yeah kind off" I replied and he started laughing .. Weird

"What ?? Why are you laughing ??" I asked him

"Sorry but its really funny " he said still laughing "pehle attraction ko pyar samjh liya ab pyar ko dosti samjh rahe ho .. Its so funny man"

"No .. Nandini meri sirf dost hai .. Me pyar nhi krta usse " I uttered the thing which i was telling myself since last night , without thinking twice ..

"I never mentioned Nandini " Cabir said grinning

"I mean .. I ... " I was blank when suddenly cabir grabbed my collar

"Abey hone wali biwi hai meri .. Aankh v utha k dekha na to " he spoke and it was hurting inside ..

"I .." I couldn't complete when he again started laughing .. Now what ??

"Jali ??" He asked ..

"What "

"Jali na ?? Sirf biwi sun kr .. Ye soch jab sach me ban jayegi to kya krega " he asked me with a teasing smile ..

"Ye ring dekh raha hai " he said showing me a ring "jab uske hatho me jayegi na to wo humesha k lie meri ban jayegi .. Tera pyar v usse mujhse dur ni kr payega .. " Cabir said and his each and every word strikes my heart so hard that I was actually feeling dizzy ..

"Apna phn de " he asked and snatched my phn from my hand without my permission ..

He opened my google map and set a destination ..

"Yahi milegi wo tujhe .. Trust me agar aaj tune usse jane diya na to I promise me usse lene nahi dunga tujhe  .. " he said with determined voice and went away .. Leaving me with my confusions ..

"Soch le .. Puri life Armaan Mallick k songs gayega yaa Atjit singh k " Cabir said coming again with a kurkure packet "Soch le " and went away munching it ..

I closed my eyes frustrated and her beautiful smiling face , I saw with my closed eyes .. And my lips smiled with my heart .. And my brain found his peace ..

"She is the one " my heart whispered loud enough for me to hear .. And I opened my eyes just to see Cabir's smiling face ..

"Thank You" I muttered and he smiled and signaled 1...2..3.. Go .. And I started my marathon
