Can we be Friends ??

Hye I am Manik , Manik Malhotra .. Basically am an orphan .. I left my orphanage when I was 18 .. Now am 25 .. I struggled hard for everything in my life ..

I have completed my MBA this year .. Waiting for my result , then I will apply on the bestest company of Mumbai .. Currently am doing a part time job in an insurance company .. I get enough money to survive ..

Today my day was good until a phone call pissed me off .. I dialed someone's number for selling our stupid insurance .. Well this is my job .. Randomly call everyone and awarded with their gali ..

But today I dialed a number .. Well it was girl .. Her voice ... Some kind of melody in it .. But then she spoke proving me wrong .. She called me a "Bastard" it hurts .. She was sounding upset but that doesn't mean she will hurt ppl na ... So I hung up after bidding a professional bye to her ..

Then after some minutes I got a call .. And freak !! Its the same girl .. Her voice ... Ahhh I just love his voice ..

"Talk to me please " she said and I was shocked .. I mean never in my life I talked to a girl .. I don't have any girl friend .. Gf is far away .. But she is sounding so low .. May be she is really in a need .. I should help her .. Atlst I can try .. Or may be I can just get my first girl friend ..

Nandini POV

Few seconds of silence then came his voice and I sighed in relief ...

"Am sending you my number ... Call me " he said and I smiled .. I smiled for the first time in the day .. Shit I am happy ...

Before I answer he hung up on me AGAIN ... God !! Urghhh I just hate this...

Then came his miscall .. Like seriously ?? Who gave a miscall ??  Without giving another thought I dialed his number .. And he picked it up ...

"Hello" I said desperately .. For some reason I just want to talk .. This is not so me

"Hey ... " he answered nervously

*silence*

"So u r Manik , ryt " I asked ...

"Yeah ... And you ??" He asked me back

"Nandini .. Nandini Kapoor " I replied almost immediately

"Okay .. Nice name " he complemented me

"Thank You" I said .. But heck did I blush ?? God what's wrong with me

*silence* again urghh I hate it .. Come na talk to me .. I just can't initiate all the time ..

"Umm ahh" then came his voice

"Yeah" I said giving him silent encouragement

"You are the same girl who bashed me , ryt ??" He asked .. Shit he did recognize

"Yeah .. And am really sorry for that .. " I apologized .. Dude that's something new .. The great Nandini Kapoor said sorry .. I am amazed

"Umm its okay " he said and again that silence ..

"So what you wanna talk ??" He asked

"Umm I don't know .. I just wanted to talk .. Cant we be friends ?? Pls don't say no " I again requested .. God whats happening with me ?? But I just want to feel someone besides me ..

"Yeah we can " He said and then added "U know what Nandini , in life we will get problems in each & every stage .. Its like tea in a tea .. " he said and waited for my answer

"What does that tea in a tea mean ?? " all I noticed is that word .. I mean its confusing , ryt ??

"Well chai tum bina chai k to bana nahi sakti .. Its like patato chips without patato .. " he said explaining himself
