Nandini POV

I opened my eyes when sun light disturbed my slumber .. In an uncomfortable position I got up and freshened up .. Well its an ugly morning , my hope shattered completely .. Hope for US .. Now I need to move on .. And I will .. This wounded heart wanted to be pampered .. Enough of my stupidity .. First Abhi then Manik .. I can't live my life like this .. I think I should go with the flow .. Mom was ryt , I should give Cabir a chance .. Atlst  for them  .. I quickly got ready and went down ..

There he was .. Sitting with my parents cracking some funny jokes .. He is a stress buster .. He can make anyone laugh .. But I never thought him more than friends .. Like never in my wildest dream .. But mom says he likes me ... He never told me through .. But yeah his parents wanted us to get married and he is ready for this ..

"Tumhe bhulana aasaan nahi hoga par me bhool jaungi , bas tum khush rehna .. " I wisher for him under my breath and went towards them

"Good morning princess " Papa wished me first

"Morning papa " I hugged him then I hugged mumma too wishing her .. Her warmth always makes me feel safe ...

"Good morning Cabir " I wished him too with a smile side hugging him

"Morning baby doll .. Why ur eyes are red ?? Didn't slept ??" He asked me .. Gosh !! He noticed everything

"Umm naah .. I don't know why nind ni aayi " I said giving a lame excuses

"Aise kaise " mom was about to start but I cut him off by saying " I have decided something " they all gave me a what look

For some seconds they all were blank

"What happened ??" I asked being confused and then my parents hugged me together .. I just smiled wiping my unseen tears .. My heart just ached more .. But now it doesn't hurt .. I can bear this pain .. Yeah .. Anything for my parent's happiness

"Me jaa k Dhawan ko batata hu (cabir's dad)" dad said excitedly and mom was just blabbering .. Cabir and I were sitting their in an awkward silence ..

"Me bhagwan ko shukriya kr k aati hu " she went after blessing us

"Why you r doing this Nandini ??" Cabir asked .. He can read my face.. Childhood besties , u see ..

"For mom & dad .. " I replied

"What about you ??"

"Nothing left about me now .. "

"Cabir I love someone jo kisi or se pyar krta haii .. I have to move on some day na to ... If you don't want , u can tell .. From my side its a yes " I said blankly

"What's his name ??" He asked and I was confused

"Manik .. Manik Malhotra" I said without questioning when papa interrupted us

"Beta aaj raat ko party haii jaha will announce about you two .. Logo ko v pata chale Murthy or Dhawan officially ek hone jaa rahe hai " papa said excitedly and I just made a happy face

"I am so happy beta .. Thank You for this " Papa emotionally uttered and I hugged him controlling my tears ..

"I think u should go to parlor .. Meri beti to aiwaii khoobsurat hai par I want some professional touch .. " papa said and I nodded

"Cabir .. Tum v ghar jao beta .. Apne frnds ko bulao .. Short notice pe koi apna chhoot ni Jana chahiye " Papa said and Cabir nodded still unsure ..
