It was dark. The vast sky had settled for an immense dark cobalt as its colour spectrum. No grey clouds hid the azure sky or the diamond-like stars that floated above. Instead, an extremely slender layer of mist wandered aimlessly around the glacial atmosphere. The night had engulfed every small speck of light, allowing the shadows to dance on the uneven ground. Eventhough it was a tranquil twilight, an eerie mood had taken over- something off putting, something a bit exciting. A bit dangerous....
"No! Please... I beg of you. Stop!" Her black tear stained cheeks reddened and swelled as a waterfall of salty tears trickled down her wrinkled face.
" You should take responsibility for your pathetic actions Mrs Monroe. You look so helpless... it's almost pitiful."He cooed teasingly as he dryly patted the red head's brittle hair.
"Please.... I don't want to die... I-Isn't t-there a w-way to ke-ep me al-live?" She questioned hopelessly.
" Well, when I see such a helpless woman pleading for her excuse of a life while practically kissing my feet... How can I say no? So, what do you propose we do? " A shadow of a smirk spread across his smooth, pale skin, exposing a deep dimple situated on his left cheek.
" W-w-well..." The wailing woman stuttered.
" Please refrain from stuttering, it agitates me."The now frusturated boy puffed out, blowing at the rebellious lock of obsidian- black hair that refused to stay in place.
"I'm s-so sor-" -stutter-
"10"
"H-huh?.." -stutter-
"9"
"N-no!" -stutter-
"8"
" Stop!" - Finally! She is a slow woman, thought the impatient teen.
" Sev- oh! You didn't stutter! Thank goodness I didn't have to kill you so soon. I haven't even had a chance to have fun yet!"
"...."
"You proposal, Mrs Monroe?" He tilted his head innocently to the right.
"....Elizabeth..." The aged woman mumbled as if it were taboo of her to allow that one name to pour out of her salt water saturated lips.
"What was that? I didn't quite hear you, please speak louder."
"My child, Elizabeth. She... she is my daughter but not the child of her father. Someone will eventually realize she is a nuisance to the Monroe family. She will pay my debt to prove herself worthy... If not, kill her." The old hag did not move or show any form of emotions, not like the boy was showing any either. He was just over reacting as he was too bored of being the ruthless, cold hearted killer. Why not be a loud, friendly assasin instead?
" Wow! That is a little hypocritical of you to say Mrs Monroe. I'm sure she wasn't the one that gladly spread her legs for some cheap love-making because her husband was not able to satisfy her disgusting needs as he was , unfortunately, cursed with a small.. well, you know what. Should I continue Mrs Monroe?"
