I scrunched my curly hair, put on my lip stick and tried to make the eyeliner as dark as I could.  Not happening, but it was worth a shot.

I got the most revealing dress I could find in the pathetic wardrobe they gave me.  It was still completely covering.

I walked with the rest of the giggling girls out to the pavilion.  We all waited for the guys so show up.  I just sat there bored playing with my lip ring.  I’m hoping to avoid the gaze of the one I call Prickly Pross.

Finally a bus showed up and there were guys exiting.  I have to admit, they are all very dapper.  Nice comb-overs and khaki slacks.  All the girls began to get more excited.  I continued my bored gaze.  We had a bunch of tables set up to have tea.  How ridiculous.

Each boy was supposed to meet a girl and escort her to the table.  All the boys came over and some looked over at me with scared looks and scuttled over to the cute little girls.  Only one dared to look me straight in the eyes and keep the gaze.  I don’t know who he is, but I like him.  His hair was a mess.  His fancy jacket was unbuttoned and he had a lip piercing.  He’s mine.

He walked over to me, but was immediately cut off by one of the cutesy girls.  She dragged him away.  I just shrugged and walked away.

I managed to run into Prickly.  Smooth move of me.  “Felicity Jones!  I told you to take out that ridiculous ring!”

“You said out of my nose if I remember correctly.”

“No piercings!  Period!  How’s that for clear.”

“I’m sorry what?”  I said faking being deaf.  Everyone was staring now.

“To your room!  Unless you want to take off the disgusting ring.”

“Peace out!”

I walked to my room.

I slammed the door and laid on my bed.  After a couple minutes I heard a knock.  I opened the door and screamed.   Then took a breath. “Oh it’s only you.”

“Felicity you do not talk to your superiors like that.”  Prickly said.

“My bad.”

“Here.”  She handed me a disgusting rag like dress.

“What am I supposed to do with this?”

“Wear it.”

“Why?”

“It’s part of the punishment.  You have to come back to tea now.  Wearing that.”

“My punishment is embarrassment?  Really?  That’s not very creative Prickly, Oh!  I mean Pross.”

“Young lady you will put this on and come down to tea now!”

“Fine fine.”  I shut the door in her face.

I put on the uglier dress than what I was already wearing.  I looked in the mirror and turned around.  It was truly disgusting.  Horrid.  Appalling.  You pick your adjective.

I opened the door to see Prickly standing there.  “Good, now let’s go.”

We walked back down to the little party.  Everyone turned and stared.  I held my head high.  Even when they all started giggling.  I did turn a little red, but I didn’t care.

I sat down and started drinking my tea.  They were still all staring.  “What the fuck are you all looking at?!”

“Felicity!”
