1. A Little Less Than Average (PART ONE)

Start from the beginning

She only gave us a light pink lipstick, but I managed to smuggle in my bright red lipstick.  I couldn’t get my black eye liner though so I have to settle for the blue one that was given to us.

I looked at my hair and shrugged.  It works.  It will make Mrs. Pross mad.

I walked with Stacey downstairs to the kitchen.  I put my personalized apron on that I designed in sewing class.  Everyone’s had a bunch of flowers and cute things on it.  Mine had flames and skulls.  I’ve never been so proud of my artistic skills.

We all started making breakfast and I kept yawning.  I hate this so much.

I kind of dozed off against the counter and I woke up to girls screaming.  I looked at my pancake.  It was on fire.  It wasn’t like a blaze, just a tiny fire but the girls were all screaming.  “Oh shut up!”  I yelled and covered it with my apron and turned the stove off.  I threw the burnt pancake into the trashcan.  Those girls are pathetic sometimes.

“What happened?!”  Mrs. Pross said, pushing through everyone.

“There was a fire!”  Jane, Mrs. Pross’s little shadow said.

“Where?”

Everyone pointed to me.  “She did it.”

“Felicity Jones!  Come here!”

I walked towards her and crossed my arms.  “Yes?”  I said with an indifferent look.

“You set your pancake on fire?”

“Not on purpose!”

“Then how?”

“I accidently fell asleep.”

“Why?  Didn’t you go to bed at the right time?”

“Yes.  I just couldn’t fall asleep for a long time.”

“Why not?”  She snapped, looking down at me with her beady little eyes and pointy nose.  She has a booger…

“Because my roommate snores!”  I yelled.  What choice did I have?  She won’t accept anything else.

“I do not!”  Stacey screamed.

“How would you know?”

“Ladies!  That is not appropriate behavior!  The only reason I’m going to over look this slip up is because of how quickly you got rid of the fire and how calm you were doing so.  So good job.”

She walked away.  Did she really just say I did a good job?  Whatever.  I’m hungry.  I finished my pancakes and now it’s time for sewing class.  Joy!

We got in and I sat down and started fiddling with the string.  I don’t really ever do anything in this class and when I do it ends up being something that the teachers get pissed at me about.  Like the apron for instance.

“Felicity!”

“What?!”  I said popping out of my haze.

“It’s time for break.  Get out.”  Mrs. Hazel said.

“Oh.  Alright.  Peace!”

“That’s not the way a lady should speak!”  She yelled after me.

“Yeah, whatever.”

I went out to the garden where I usually sit to eat my snack.  Yes, snack.

No one really goes there.  I may be a crazy bitch, but the garden is nice.  The bench is in the perfect position.  It’s facing the fountain and where the sun sets.  It’s obviously not setting now, but sometimes I come out here.

I took a bite of my finger sandwich (Don’t you dare make a comment about the finger sandwich) and smelled the rose that was growing right next to me.

The bell rang ending our break.  I got up and brushed off my nasty ass dress.

The rest of the week was much the same.  I got sent to my room four more times.  Once for poking a girl with a needle.  Once for back sassing our math teacher.  Another time for throwing some flour on a girl who was just a bitch.  And the last time was for screaming the f- word when I burnt my finger on a pan.  The last one was unfair in my opinion.

Finally it was a fun day.  No classes.  We were going to be visited by the boy’s school.  So freaking pathetic!  We can only pick our future husband out of that sad bunch of boys.  I bet there’s not a worthwhile one in the group.

**You may think you know, but you don't. Seriously try and give a guess about what could possibly happen in this story? Hmm? Lol The next chapter will be pretty interesting. I like it. It's more entertaining than this chapter that's for sure. =) I hope you liked it. Also things change so rapidly in this story that i may get confused and write something wrong so just try and keep me straight if i made a mistake. =) Another thing before i go, I was really worried to post this story because i'm worried that i'm not going to like it in a bit and stop writing it. I've written about eight chapters so, so far so good. If you all like it, i'll continue. =) Peace!**
