Without you I'd be nothing,
Just some dust in the breeze,
But then you came to help me
Without my wish or my please
You're amazing, you know,
I wouldn't be here without you
I say my writing is bad,
But you assure me the opposite is true
You grant me smiles, laughs, and joy-
I can't believe how many I've touched
And I say these sweet things, these thanks, these words,
But do I say I love you enough?
A screen blocks us, our eyes unseeing,
But our hearts see past our blinded souls
We meet here, but never see faces,
And yet our hearts remain whole
We have the power to change the world,
To save lives, to bring smiles
And while those superheroes are out there fighting,
We're typing all the while
Words can destroy humanity,
But they can save it, too
Because the words you've given me
Have saved me with countless 'I love yous'.
Maybe I'm being too dramatic-
I was never in any danger
But no one knows how amazing it feels
To be treated well by a stranger
Before I cry, and before you do, too,
Let me just say this last thing to you
You've supported me without even knowing my name-
So all I can say is thank you
