Derek's point of view:

I walked into the OR scared to see what was behind the the door. There she was bruises all over her her face and arms. I felt awful.

"How is she?" I asked as I walked over to her head

"She's okay right now. She has lots of scars and bruises all over her abdomen. She'll recover" he reassured me

"Thank you" I told him as I gently ran my fingers through her hair. I missed doing that, I especially missed her.

"Your welcome" he said as he finished the surgery

Cristinas point of view:

"Alex you're an ass!" I yelled at him as he was changing out of his scrubs in the residence lounge

"Why?" He asked

"Derek is a wreck!" I shouted

"You didn't tell him did you?" He asked

"Of course I did!" I yelled

"Why!" He shouted

"Because he's scared and worried" I said

"He's an ass" he said as he let out a puff of air

"No he isn't!" I yelled as I stormed out of the lounge. I walked back over to the ORs to see if Lexie was okay. I didn't really like her but I still cared, it is Meredith's sister after all.

"Clear!" Teddy yelled as I walked in

"What's going on with her?" I asked as came closer with a mask stuck to my face

"There's a tear in her right ventricle" she told me as her scrabbled to save her

"Do you need help?" I asked as I started to head for the scrub room

"Yes, scrub in" she said as she grabbed the paddles. I then quickly scrubbed in and quickly walked back into the OR.

"I need you to stitch up this tear while I find the other source of this bleed" she ordered as I rushed over to Lexie. I grabbed the suture kit the nurse handed me and started to stitch the tear.

"Okay, done" I said as I Finished

Derek's point of view:

Meredith was finally out of surgery. I walked with the nurses as they rolled her gurney into the room that she was probably going to be in for a while. Her face was still pale and she had bruises scattered from head to toe, she had scars on her face and stomach . She still looked strong and beautiful. There she was the love of my life, she probably thought that I wanted to leave her or I hated her. I didn't though, I was angry and disappointed in her. I watched as Meredith's chest raised and fall, she was alive I smiled as tears of joy filled my eyes. I gently kissed her lips and sat next to her laying my head on her shoulder as she slept.

Meredith's point of view:

I felt his cold dead hands grab my arm as I began to wake up. I'm still here, no one's found me yet. Light vaguely blinds me as I open my eyes, I then feel a warm touch instead of cold. And to my left I see Derek whom was full of rage the last time I seen him. But this time he's calm and seemingly distraught. I slightly move my head to get a better glimpse of the room that I'm in, trying not to wake Derek who was laying on my shoulder. I look around, and it looks to me that it's just a normal hospital room. There's wires that lead to my chest detecting my heart rate, iv fluids to keep me hydrated and morphine. I then start to feel pain throb in my abdomen, I try to move my arms to clutch onto my stomach. But I couldn't,my empty arm was to bruised to do so. Instead I winced in pain, causing Derek to jump up looking worried.

"Hey" I greeted wincing in pain clenching my stomach with my now free, left hand. Derek then reached up and over me to press a button, the pain slowly died down as I began to calm my breathing. "Thanks" I told him as I laid my head on his chest.

"Your welcome" He whispered into my ear as he wrapped his arms back around my small frame and caressing my shoulder. I then fell back asleep resting in the love of my life's arms.
