"Promise me na babalik ka?" said the young girl, with her pinky held away from her to the face of the young boy in front of her.

They both knew this would be the last, the last time they would look at each other, the last time they would talk, the last time they would make promise that would never happen, but what can they do, they're young. And thought it's love they both felt.

"What? Of course, babalik ako," retorted the young boy with a slight frown painted on his freckled face.

They thought they would see each other again, although they knew, only Fate would do that. Pero alam nila na suntok sa buwan kung magki-kita pa sila.

"Augustina, alam nating dalawa na sayo ako parating babalik," the young boy uttered as he intertwined his pinky with hers.
