(Ok so I was reading some other fanfics, and I decided not to have the whole Silver's death date thing cuz there was a really good one that had the some idea. So I changed the description a lil' bit and chapter 1's ending but he's still gonna be grumby cuz that's what happens lol. I do realize my story is too cliche to some, and I get that, but I honestly feel like u should lemme finish the story first. But that's just my opinion lol. ENJOY;)

Juvia's POV

I enter the guild, head held high and ready for anything. It is roudy in here, and loud, just the way I like it. Cana is on the bar stool, chugging some type of alcohol. Mira is cleaning up glasses and taking Wakaba's food order. Lucy and Natsu sat if the far corner, talking about about their latest job to Lisana. Gajeel was teasing Levy about her height while Jet and Droy gave jealous growls. Yup, everything seemed normal.
Wait... Where's Gray-sama?
I scanned the room once again, not being able to spot his raven hair. I sighed. Maybe he's not here.. Just then, the guild doors opened. Gray walked in, his hands in his pocket and his face an emotionless mask.
My face lit up as our eyes meet. I run up to him. "Goodmorning Gray-sama!" I called cheerfully.

Gray's POV

I hear my name being called, and just as I thought, I saw the obsessive water mage approach me. She wraps her arms around my waist. I sigh but feel my cheeks slightly heat up. "Oh hi Juvia," I reply. I feel my stomach twist as I said her name. Why me?

"Did Gray-sama have a good sleep?" Juvia asks me as I pry her arms from around me. She smiles warmly. I feel my cheeks flush, I look away desperately trying to hide my face. Wow my shoes look so interesting right now.
"Yeah I guess." "Gray-sama can Juvia talk to you for a second?" She asked softly. She seemed nervous and fidled her thumbs. Aren't we already talking?
"Uh yeah. Whatcha need?" I kinda suspected what she was gonna say. Oh Gray-sama Juvia loves you! Yeah, yeah that's nice...
Juvia grabs my hand and leads me to the front door of the guild.
She stops and takes a deep breath and then looks me in the eyes.
"Gray-sama knows that Juvia loves him right?" She asked softly. I sigh in annoyance. "Obviously," I replied. I sounded a lot more sassy then I meant but she didn't seem to notice. "But do you know why Juv.." "OI ICE PRINCESS!" I hear his mocking voice challenge me. I get excited, my fists eager to pound his face. "YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME FLAME BRAIN?" "BRING IT YOU PREVERTED POPSICLE!" I start towards Natsu, but then I felt Juvia tug on my arm.
"Wait Gray-sama Juvia never got to.." "Juvia I've already heard you say this a million times before," I grumble, wanting to slip out of this conversation. "No Juvia wants to say that she loves.." "That you love me. I get it. Can I go now?"

Juvia's POV

I was offended that I was boring him. My mouth gaped open and then I became flustered. "But Juvia had something important to say!" "Important? Important! I've already heard you say it many times! Why is this any different?" "Because Juvia was gonna say.."
"Gonna say what? Spit it out woman!" "Gray-sama, Juvia loves you because..." "OI GRAY, ARE WE GONNA DO THIS OR WHAT? DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE AFRAID?" Natsu-san challenged again. I felt Gray-sama's attention waver again as he glanced back at Natsu, a hungry look in his eyes. "I'M NOT AFRAID OF A LIL' CANDLE!" "I AIN'T A CANDLE! THIS INFERNO IS GONNA MELT THAT SMIRK RIGHT OFF YOUR FACE!" "Gray-sama, Juvia thinks that.." I try to say again. "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY FLAME BRAIN!" "Gray-sama, Juvia thinks..." I begin to say faster. He won't pay attention to me! All he wants to do is fight with Natsu-san! "BRING IT ON ICE-CUBE!" "Gray-sama, Juvia..." "I WILL YOU FLAMING IDIOT!" "Gray-sama," I try to start again as he throws off his shirt and begins walking towards Natsu-san.
"GRAY!" I stammered, tired of being ignored. He rolls his eyes and looks back at me. "WHAT? Can't you see I'm doing something!?"
That's it! Juvia was talking to you first anyways! I thought to myself but then something else slipped out. "CAN'T YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME FOR ONE SECOND!?" I screamed angrily, a loud crack of thunder ripping through the silence. I felt everyone in the guild stare at me, even Natsu finally shut up.

Gray's POV

Damn, she's pissed. I open my mouth to say something but she stopped me, her hands flying angrily in the air. "You know what, forget it, Gray. I don't feel like talking to you anyways.." She mumbled the last part and stormed out of the guild, a light pattering of rain began to fall. She didn't add Sama. She didn't talk in third person. Uh oh. "Wait Juvia!" I called, running out into the rain, forgetting my shirt on the floor. I saw her with her back turned to me. "What?" She asked, glancing back, tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't listening. Can you tell me what you were gonna say now?" I asked softly, my hand scratching the back on my neck. She sighed loudly. "Juvia was gonna tell you why she loved you...." She mumbled, "but Juvia doesn't wanna talk to Gray right now." "Wait Juvia, why do you love me? Juvia?" I called to her as she continued walking. "See you tomorrow Gray-sama," she replied without looking back.
And that was it. Me, standing in the rain, without a shirt on, staring dumbfoundedly at one of the most important people in my life.
(Whelp this chapter is shorter than I wanted it to be... But what do ya think? I don't like how everyone makes Gray insult Juvia and call her the rain woman and stuff cuz I truly feel like Gray would never do that. So it seems more realistic, In my opinion, if he just got distracted by Natsu, which is normally the usual. FYI I DO NOT OWN FAIRYTAIL, IT BELONGS TO HIRO MASHIMA.
