The book is a work of fiction. Any reference to people, real or fiction, is purely coincidental.
Cahira lives in a fictional town near the real city of Seattle. The shops, schools, parks, and citizens of this town are just as fictional as she is.
In the novel, Cahira leaves town and explores other cities. These cities, however, are real. I did my research to find real restaurants and places for them to visit. However, I have not always been to these cities myself so if a restaurant isn't exactly like it is in real life, I apologize.
In the novel, the majority of the media consumed is real. The characters will watch movies and tv shows that actually exist. I did not reveal any spoilers of these media outlets, they did not affect my storyline in any significant way, and all rights go to the respective creators.
I am not a scientist, however I pretend to be one in this book. While I based the science on the book on real science I assure you it is very fake.
As always, I appreciate and love feedback and critiques. If you see spelling or grammar mistakes point them out, and I'll try to fix them. However, hate and bullying will be deleted and blocked, including any use of slurs.
This is a big one: The book is prewritten. When it is published, the story is done. Therefore, while I appreciate notes and comments I most likely will not change anything drastic.
