Third Person POV

-Moments before Aspen arrived at Dead Mans Peak-

Charming and the one handed pirate stood on Dead Mans Peak, celebrating the Prince being cured of dreamshade. Killian smiled slightly, enjoying the feeling of being heroic for once. He was so used to being to villain, but this time, he did the right thing.

"Just one question." David said. "Why would you risk your life for me when there was nothing for you in return?" Hook chuckled, taking a step closer to David.

"I didn't do it for you, mate." He winked, giving charming a knowing smile. David rolled his eyes, opening his mouth to say something, but before he got a chance, a voice was heard coming up the peak. David went to pull out his sword, yet the pirate grabbed his arm.

"No. Only the lost boys travel that path. I imagine Pan wouldn't be happy to find us here." Killian looked around for a quick escape, but found nothing.

"Get down." He mumbled, finding a safe spot behind the trees to hide. David waited patiently, yet with anxiety as the lost boys slowly trudged onto Dead Mans Peak. His eyes landed on Pan who stepped up to the front of the group. Both the Prince and the Pirate couldn't help but shiver as the demented teenager smirked. He was nothing but evil, that much was apparent.

"Make way, boys." He chuckled. "Precious cargo coming through." He seethed, crossing his arms over his chest. David would have bolted from his hiding spot if Hook hadn't stopped him because of the sight. Felix walked through line of the lost boys with Aspen thrown over his shoulder.

Pan continued to taunt her, shoving her to her knees. It made David sick to his stomach. He tried once again to go after them, but Hook held him back once more.

"Let go, pirate. That child is like my granddaughter and I will not stand here and watch this." David whispered, yanking his arm out of Hooks grip.

"I can't let you do that, mate. If you let Pan know that you are here, if you go after her right now, he will kill her. For the girl's safety, you have to stay here." Hook said. David searched for any bit of trickery in Killian's eyes, but found none. He opened his mouth to speak, yet before he could speak Pans words caught his attention.

"Let's see if I can kill you from the inside out." David's eyes turned back to the sight, gulping as he watched Pan's hand latch onto her jaw. A lost boy came from behind her, unlocking the chains around her wrists while Pan stared directly into her eyes. It was as if his stare kept her from fighting back. One of the boys grabbed her right arm while Pan grabbed her left. Her right arm was twisted behind her back, holding her in place, but her left arm was cuffed down to rock.

"Now then." Pan said, smirking down at the terrified prisoner. He slowly, tauntingly, pulled his dagger from its sheath, teasingly pointing it at her chin and forcing her head up to look at him. Aspen gulped, fear pooling in her eyes like tears.

"I hope you remember what dreamshade can do to a person." Pan's smirk only grew as did her fear. He kneeled down in front of her, her face only level with his chest as he locked his eyes with hers. It seemed like he was trying to hypnotize her, like he was putting her under his trance. And it was working. His emerald green eyes were so deep, so enchanting that she couldn't avert her eyes, no matter how hard she tried to.

Then, when she was least expecting it, Pan harshly slid his dagger across her open palm. Aspen let out a muffled scream, blood dripping out of her wrist. The pain in her palm was nearly unbearable, making tears fall from her eyes as she watched Pan stand back up.

'Surly he is definition of evil'. She thought. Never in her life had she met someone so cruel, so cold blooded. After the curse first broke, no one believed that Regina wanted to change, but Aspen knew that her mother was a hero. She believed any and every soul could be saved, yet that was before she met Peter Pan. Looking at the true evil, the pure darkness that resided in his eyes. Aspen changed her mind. Not every soul could be saved.

David watched in silence as Aspen screamed and cried in pain, wishing he could stop all of this, but he knew he would only make it work. As Pan reached for a vile of liquid held by one of the lost boys, Hooks eyes widened catching David's attention.

"Bloody....he's a demon." Hook mumbled, wiping his forehead with his valid hand.

"What is he doing?" David whispered to the Pirate, tearing his eyes away from Aspen and held Hooks gaze. Killian sighed shamefully, lowering his head slightly.

"The one thing he know will contain her." He answered vaguely. "You hero's run on hope, so if she has none, she won't try to run." Hook said, looking back at Aspen who was shaking and crying. David's eyes widened, realization striking him suddenly.

"He...He's going to poison her. He's going to trap her to this island." He whispered, quickly turning back to Aspen. Just about as David was going to run to her, to beg and plead Pan for her life, Pan poured the poison into her deep cut.

Aspen screamed time after time, sobbing as the dreamshade seeped through her veins. David froze in his tracks, knowing there was nothing he could do. He was forced to watch as the lost boys, including their ruthless leader laughed at Aspens screaming as if it were a joke.

The dreamshade affected Aspen quickly, making her fall limp into the lost boys arms. Pan waved his hand, unlocking the chain around her wrist. She fell back, the world growing blurry. The sound around her came into her ears muffled as she blinked her eyes, try desperately to hold onto life.

Pan grabbed her by her hair, shoving her into the small cave where the healing waterfall flowed. He walked in after her, ripping the gag off her mouth. He grabbed her arm, yanking her down until she fell onto the ground. Once again, her hair was roughly grabbed as he squatted down next to her.

"Drink it." Pan spat, forcing her to look at her reflection in the water. Aspen shook her head, making his grip on her hair tighten. He leaned over her, whispering into her ear threateningly.

"Its either you...or Henry." He said, smirking as he saw her lifeless brown eyes widen. Tears continued to fall down her face as she looked at her reflection. Slowly, she cupped her hands, the water stinging her cut as it touched her. She gulped, chugging the water out of her cupped hands. Almost immediately, she felt to poison healing, the red blood disappearing from her hand. She sighed hopelessly, but Pan cut her off by grabbing the back of her legs and tossing her over his shoulder.

Normally, she would have fought back, kicked and screamed at the very least, but she had given up. She was trapped on this God forsaken island for the rest of forever. And everyone understood, especially Peter Pan, that forever was an awfully long time. That was why he chose the punishment he did. He took her hope, therefore he took everything from her.

She was broken, all alone, but she was the one thing she swore she'd never become. The one title she could never accept.
