Chapter 25

The following morning, an energized Andrew approaches Daddy Edward at the garden while he is having his breakfast.

"Mukhang maganda ang gising mo ah, parang hindi ka napagod kay AJ kahapon" Daddy Edward said

Andrew laughs at what Daddy Edward said "Hindi naman nakakapagod kahapon Dad. In fact nakakatanggal nga ng stress. Nakakatuwa lang na may isang bata akong nakakausap tungkol kay Iron Man" Andrew said while laughing.

"Mukhang nagkakaedad ka na nga anak. You were never fond of kids before" Daddy Edward commented.

"Busy lang ako before Dad, I don't have time to play with kids then" Andrew replied

"Hindi kaya dahil anak sya ni Gara that's why you are fond of him?" Daddy Edward teases

"I did not know that AJ is Gara's son when I got smitten to him" Andrew defended himself

"You don't need to defend yourself, nagtatanong lang ako. Hanggang ngayon masyado kang sensitive kapag si Gara ang topic. Can you loosen up a bit? Nahahalata ko tuloy na may feeling ka pa" Daddy Edward continue teasing.

"Ikaw talaga Dad, ako na naman ang nakita mo"Andrew said

"Syempre, tayong dalawa lang naman ang nandito sa bahay eh" Daddy Edward replied laughing

"You are aware that Gara will be visible again sa office right?" Daddy Edward said

"Yes Dad, nasabi na sa akin ng HRD" Andrew replied

"Wala naman tayong problema sa pagbabalik nya di ba?" Daddy Edward asked

"I don't have problem having her around. I know how much you trust her Dad. You know what's good for the company" Andrew replied. "Besides, there's a possibility na bitbitin nya lagi si AJ sa office" he added.

"At naisingit mo pa talaga si AJ" Daddy Edward said

"In two weeks time, papasok na nga pala si AJ sa school. Hindi kaya masyado pa syang bata para sa mga school activities Dad?" Andrew concernly asked

"They have activities for toddlers alone. Maganda nga na mas maaga ma-expose si AJ sa ibang bata. AJ is a smart kid. I'm sure he will never be bullied" Daddy Edward

"Nagsearch kasi ako sa internet last night, may nabasa ako na dapat before the school starts mafeel na nung toddler yung school ambiance. Also, it would be better kung ipapakilala sya agad sa magiging teacher nya para hindi sya matatakot. Pwede kaya akong sumama sa first day of school ni AJ? I just want to see him on his special day" Andrew explained and Daddy Edward can't help but chuckled.

"What's funny Dad?" Andrew asked

"Nothing, it is actually not funny but I am delighted. I never did those before. Hindi ko nga naisip na ihatid ka on your first day of school. It was your Mom who did all of those. At least you'll be a better father that I am" Daddy Edward

"You are the best Dad. I will not trade you with any other Dad" Andrew said

"Wow, ang tagal kong hinintay sabihin mo yan sa akin ah" Daddy Edward said teary eyed

"Ikaw ang tumatanda Dad, nagiging emosyonal ka na eh" Andrew teases back

"Natouch lang ako. Kumain ka na nga" Daddy Edward said wipping his tears while Andrew laughs out loud.

Come Monday afternoon, Gara is restless as this is her first day in reporting for work. In the past two years she only submits her designs through Jake and she is not required to report to office anymore. But today is different because she will be reporting to work on a regular basis and her first time to mentor the new bread of Architects. Aside from the fact that she needs to bring AJ with her, there is a high possibility to encounter Andrew anytime.
