It's always safe at the park.....

*At park*

"Push me Niall!" Stephanie cried from the swings. I ran over to Stephanie and began to push her.
"Wheeee!!" She squealed, making me laugh

After that she got the other boys to play tag with her Every time one of the boys caught her she would burst into a fit of laughter.

Stephanie tensed up all of a sudden She grabbed my hand "Run Niall!" She cried

"What's wrong?" I asked Stephanie pointed A very angry girl was staring at me.

"Dats mommy!" Stephanie squeaked that was her mom!?! She only looked about 17 years old

I grabbed Stephanie and threw her over my shoulder
I ran towards the car "C'MON BOYS!" I yelled the boys quickly realizing what was going on and ran after me

I threw the door of the van open and set Stephanie in her car seat. She was sobbing." I'm scared Niall!"

"It's going to be alright princess." I assured her just then a hand grabbed me shoulder and jerked me around. Angry eyes were all I saw

"What do you think you're doing with my daughter!?!?!" the girl growled

"I'am not your daughter anymowe!" Stephanie snapped

"Stephanie!!" The girl cried "my baby!" She started to take Stephanie out of the car. Stephanie kicked and screamed "LEAVE ME ALONE STUPID!!!" She yelled

A man came out of nowhere and grabbed Stephanie He slapped her across the face She cried in pain

I wanted to do something. But the girl had me in a headlock now. And she was strong.

The guy started to beat Stephanie "DON'T EVER SAY THAT AGAIN!!" He yelled

"Daddy help me!!!" Stephanie screamed at me. She called me daddy.....

I had a new overpowering strength I got out of the girls headlock and pounced on the man.

I pounded into him with everything I had

"You touch her again I will whip your butt and make you regret living!!!" I screamed punching his face with all my strength

I felt two blows to my face I knew the idiot had punched me back  But I didn't care. Stephanie was my little girl and I had to stand up for her

It sounds weird when I say it doesn't it? But with in the past few weeks.... I just feel like she's my daughter I would do anything for her!

Finally I was grabbed and pulled off of the guy I looked up into Harry's Emerald orbs

"Okay Niall that's enough" he said

That's when I realized how distorted the man's face was. But that didn't mean he wasn't conscious

He jumped up grabbed the girl's hand and ran off

I hopped into the van and checked on Stephanie My heart broke at the sight of her

There was a large bump on her head and bruises on her arms. She was crying loudly

I wrapped my arms around her and held her close "Shhhh... Shhh...." I whispered rocking her back and forth. "Niall's got ya shhh..."

"I-I'm s-sscared" Stephanie sobbed barely able to talk.

"I know baby girl" Harry said rubbing her back
"They aren't gonna come back I promise"

Stephanie looked up "Pinky pwomise" she demanded holding her pinky out Harry locked his pinky with her "Now let's go home" he said

*Back at Home*

I gently pressed an ice pack against Stephanie's forehead. She winced "Cold" she complained

"It'll make the hurt go away." I replied simply

Harry held a teaspoon with some purple medicine in it. "This will help too." he explained

Stephanie pouted "Pink!"she whined

"Sorry hon." Harry replied  "We don't have any pink medicine."

Stephanie took it anyways making awful faces "Yuck." She spat pouting again "pink taste yummier.."

I grinned evilly. " I know someone who needs another visit from the tickle monster" I exclaimed grabbing her and tickling her breathless.

When I stopped she tried  to put on her meanest glare but ended up giggling anyway.

I ruffled her hair "you're too cute" I said

Stephanie yawned and rubbed her eyes

"Someone's tired." Harry commented

I picked Stephanie up "you wanna take a nap?" I asked. She nodded

"Okie Dokie, then let's get you upstairs munchkin." I said carrying her into her room.

-2 hours later-

Niall's POV

I heard Stephanie giggling a lot from upstairs. She kept talking to Liam and whenever Liam would reply she'd giggle louder. this went on for a while until Liam yelled "Hey! Get back here you cheeky little...."

I heard Stephanie shriek as she ran into the living room  "HELP!!!" She screamed "LIAM IS AFTER ME!!!"

Sure enough Liam followed hot on her heels yelling "Stephanie rose Horan you get back her!" but e was smiling so we knew  he was playing

Being a lot bigger and faster then she was it only took about 4 seconds for Liam to grab Stephanie and throw her over his shoulder.

He gently threw her down on the couch and pinned her. "Gotcha!" He exclaimed

"My turn!" Stephanie yelled throwing herself onto Liam trying to pin him down.

I shook my head grinning "well now that you're awake I meant to ask you when is your birthday hon"

Stephanie though for a moment "I was borned November 24" she announced

That was tomorrow. "Wow! That's tomorrow!" I exclaimed

Stephanie squealed "OHMIGASH I can't believe it!"

I laughed "yup! You turn four tomorrow!"

Hai :3 I'm proud of this chappie it's the longest I've ever done. I'm so excited!
