My heart broke as we left they room, I could already hear Michele's muffled cries. Full of pain and heartbreak. I felt so terrible, Austin was her only child. And now he's gone. She's alone. Well not completely...
I left Alex's side on the stairs and ran to her's, wrapping her into a hug. I softly stroked her hair as she cried into my shoulder.
Trying our best to comfort her, Alex, Zach, mom and Dave surrounded her in a group hug.
We all stood in a close nit group, until granddad poked his head in, "Time to go."
