Chase's POV

The car ride was dead silent which made me even more nervous. What's going through my dads head? Will he kick me out? No that's crazy talk..right? My mom wouldn't let him. Actually I don't even know. My dad can be a big baby sometimes. But my mom can also be scary as hell when she wants to be so I really don't know what to expect.

We pulled into the drive way and sat in the car with nothing but silence. Somehow my mouth found a way to start talking though.

"Dad, look I'm-"

He swiftly got out the car and slammed the door on his way out. I sighed. "What am I gonna do?" I asked quietly with a frown.

"Maybe just let him cool off a bit. I'll go try to calm him down while you go on up and get some sleep." I heard my mom tell me.

"But... why is he so mad?" He's never acted homophobic before. At least I don't think he has. Or maybe I've just never noticed.

"I don't know sweetie. I guess we'll find out soon though. Come on, let's go inside."

We entered the house and I went straight to my room. Enough excitement for one day, I should go to bed. I quickly changed into my pajamas, jumped in bed and texted Ryan.

Me: I'm exhausted.
Ryan: Is everything ok?
Me: Don't know yet but it's been a long day. I'm gonna hit the hay. Goodnight babe, love you. 😘❤️
Ryan: Alright love you too, goodnight ❤️😘

I sighed in content. Ryan makes me happy and I wouldn't give him up for anything. If my dad can't handle that then he can suck it. I drifted off to sleep with Ryan's beautiful face on my mind.

I woke up to sun beaming in through the window. I sat up and stretched my tight muscles. My thoughts automatically rushed back to last night. How great that went right? Actually it did go better than I expected. Three out of four isn't bad...but four out of four would be even better.

I reached for my phone.

"CHASEY BOO!"

"Good morning love. How'd you sleep?"

"Like a baby. How about you? I know last night was a little shaky."

"Of course and I slept good. I'm not worried about my dad. Whatever he does or says is not going to change how I feel about you."

"Aw your so cute."

"Your cuter."

"Hell yea I am!" I roll my eyes.

"What you doing today?"

"Umm hanging with you?"

"Sounds perfect. I'll be at your place in a bit. See you soon."

"Ok! Byeee Mwa mwa!"

I chuckled. That boy is something else. I put some clothes on, brushed my teeth, washed my face and headed downstairs.

There was no surprise when I realized my parents weren't home. Off to work like most of the time. I guess I will face my dads wrath tonight.

I grabbed my keys and some extra cash because boy oh boy can that boy eat. I hopped in my car and headed over to Ryan's place. As I walked up the driveway I saw two eyes staring at me through the blinds of the front window watching my every move. He's such a goofy creep. With no surprise the door swung open and out came running was a highly enthusiastic man child.

"Chasey boo!!!" I rolled my eyes at the nick name and huffed as he practically tackled me in the yard."

"Hey creep. You seem happy." I laughed.
