It was a wolf. It was magnificent. Dark grey ears,paws,tail and chest. Half of the left ear was missing. There was a scar running down the right side and the rest of it was light grey. "H..hi," I stammered
It growled at me then it started circling me. "Please don't hurt me,"
"Zara!" "Where are you?"
I started to back away from the wolf but it wouldn't let me, so I had a different plan. "Hey Brooke,"
"Where the hell are you!?"
"I decided to go home sorry,"
"It's fine just tell me next time,"
"Sure,"
"Bye!"
"Bye!"
When I hung up I felt something at my feet, I kept saying this is a dream. Then there was a distant howl and the wolf stood up. I was crying. The wolf came over and started nudging me.
I was backing away. Then the wolf spoke. "My name is Cinder," Cinder said.
"I promised myself I never go near a wolf ever again," I whispered.
"What?"
"Ever since...since,"
I started crying again I couldn't keep it in. Ever since my parents got slaughtered I promised myself to never associate with wolfs. Howling again. This time it was the wolf infront of me.
"What do you want from me?" I questioned. No answer. So I started singing something I sang at my parents funeral quietly.

When I stopped singing the wolf was looking at me. "What?" I snapped.
"That was amazing," Cinder answered. "Come I'm taking you to Alpha."
