MacDonald was a stinking rich man. He lived in a castle on the Scottish Highlands and only drove Rolls Royces. Cabinet ministers frequently came to visit him.

Down in the town, in fact in the poorest part of town, lived MacPherson. He lived in a place you can call a shack. He had a beautiful, sexy daughter.

One day the daughter came up to him and said: "Father, I am pregnant."

"By whom?" he asked angrily.

"The laddie from MacDonald."

So, the next day MacPherson took his bicycle and he sweated for two hours up the hill towards the castle. At the entrance they wouldn't allow him to enter at first, but after a long explanation and even a longer wait he was allowed to enter.

And up he went to the study in the castle, where he had to wait again. In the end he was shown into the study where MacDonald sat behind his rosewood desk.

"What can I do for you, man?"

"Your laddie made my daughter pregnant. What are you going to do about it?"

MacDonald took a while before he answered. He looked at the poor, dirty man with the patched clothes in front of him. There is no way he could let his only son, the heir of all his vast riches, marry the lowly bitch of MacPherson. He already had an eye on one of the cabinet minister's daughter for his son.

"I tell you what. I'm a rich man. You keep this secret and I will give you a million pounds if it is a boy and half that sum if it is a girl. What do you say?"

McPherson's eyes began to glitter by the thought of all that money.

"I say yes. Let's draw up a contract."

MacDonald called his secretary and after a while the secretary returned with the completed contract for them to sign. He gave it to McPherson to read. MacPherson was almost illiterate but with his finger scrolling down every line, he read it.

"Satisfied?" asked MacDonald.

"Yes, but on one condition and that should be added to the contract."

"What is it then, my man? Everything is possible."

"In case of a miscarriage, your laddie should try again."
