“So pumapayag ka nang hiramin namin si AJ?” Daddy Edward asked
Gara took a deep sigh before she replies “Opo, kaya lang po wala pong yaya si AJ ngayon kaya please po, wag nyo pong iwan si AJ alone with Andrew” Gara requested
“I promise. Don’t worry about the yaya, I can ask one of the helpers to attend to AJ’s need. Thank you iha. Miss na miss ko na rin ang apo ko. Simula nung naospital ako, hindi ko na nakita ang batang yun” Daddy Edward said
“No problem Tito, di ba nga sabi mo ‘Gara cannot say No to her Tito Edward’, tutoo naman po eh” Gara said beaming.
“Ipapasundo ko ba ulit?” Daddy Edward asked
“Idadaan ko na lang po Tito, may bagong supplier po akong kakausapin sa weekend, kayo na lang po siguro ang maghatid” Gara said
“It’s a deal then, maybe we could buy that iron man bag” Daddy Edward excitedly said
“Please don’t buy too much stuff Tito Edward, just the iron man bag please” Gara pleaded
“You don’t have problem with me. Pero si Andrew hindi ko yan mapipigil” Daddy Edward said
“Please tell him Tito, ayokong lumaki sya na bumili ng mga bagay na hindi naman nya kailangan” Gara explained
“I understand, don’t worry sasabihin ko yan kay Andrew” Daddy Edward promised
“I am counting on you po” Gara said
“Ako rin I am counting on you to tell the truth to Andrew soonest” Daddy Edward said
“Yes Tito, soonest, I promise” Gara replied
Come Saturday, Gara is preparing AJ for his visit to the Garcia Mansion.
“Aba at napakapogi naman ng apo ko ah” Tatay Benjo said
“Lolo, I am going to see iron man again” AJ replied
“Kamusta mo ako kay Iron Man ha” Tatay Benjo said
“Yes Lolo” AJ replied
“Sweetie, kiss ka na kay Lola, we need to go. Mommy will be late in her meeting” Gara said. AJ quickly runs to Nanay Merced to bid his goodbye
“Sigurado ka bang ipapahiram mo talaga si AJ kahit hindi pa kayo nakakapag-usap ni Andrew?” Tatay Benjo worriedly asked “Alam mo naman kung gaano kadaldal yang anak mo”
“Nagpromise naman po si Tito Edward sa akin na hindi nya iiwan si AJ kay Andrew” Gara said
“Ikaw ang bahala, ang sa akin naman eh paalala lang. Iba talaga ang lukso ng dugo. Kagaya nyan, kahit hindi alam ni Andrew na anak nya si AJ nararamdaman kong mahal na nya agad ang apo ko. Kung bakit naman kasi hindi nyo muna inayos yang hindi nyo pagkakaintindihan bago kayo umalis. Obvious naman na mahal nyo pa rin ang isa’t-isa, nakabuo nga kayo agad oh” Tatay Benjo said
“Hay naku Tay, tatlong taon nyo na pong sinasabi yan sa akin. Aalis na po kami at baka ma-late pa po ako sa appointment ko” Gara said
“Sige anak, iwasan mo lagi ang ganyang usapin. Baka kapag dumating ang oras na kailangan nyo nang mag-usap ng masinsinan eh wala kang masabi.” Tatay Benjo said
“Bye Tay, mag-iingat po ako mag-drive” Gara said and kissed Tatay Benjo then off they go to Garcia Mansion.
As soon as they reach the Garcia’s residence, AJ excitedly gets off the car to meet Daddy Edward
“Grandpa” AJ exclaimed
“Hello young man” Daddy Edward said and carried AJ “Ang bigat mo na”
“Iwan ko na po si AJ, Tito Edward. Nandyan na po sa bag nya yung mga kailangan nya sa backpack nya. Kayo na po ang bahala” Gara said
“Don’t worry iha, ako na ang bahala. Drive safely” Daddy Edward said
“Bye sweetie, mommy loves you” Gara said then off she goes
“Bye Mommy” AJ exclaimed.
"Let's get inside AJ. May ipakikilala ako sa yo" Daddy Edward said and assisted AJ inside the mansion. "I have ice cream, would you like to have some?"
"Yes grandpa but mommy said only little" AJ replied
While Daddy Edward and AJ are having their ice cream, AJ saw Andrew going down the stairs.
"Hello boss" AJ smartly greeted Andrew and the latter got so surprise to see his.
"Hello buddy, what are you doing here?" He gladly asked but AJ did not responded
"May lakad ka ba?" Daddy Edward asked
"Mag site visit sana ako Dad, nakakabagot dito sa bahay eh" Andrew replied "Bakit hindi mo sinabing darating si AJ, mabuti ipinahiram" Andrew said
"I told you 'Gara cannot say No' to her Tito Edward" Daddy Edward once again brags
"Ano naman ang gagawin ng batang ito dito?" Andrew asked
"We are going to the mall, I will buy an Iron Man school bag for AJ" Daddy Edward said
"You like iron man too buddy?" Andrew asked then AJ nodded smiling with gleaming eyes.
"Lumakad ka na para nandito ka by lunchtime. Mamaya pa naman uuwi itong si AJ after naming magmall. In the meantime, we will have some swimming time, tutal 10am pa ang opening ng mall. Do you like that AJ?" Daddy Edward asked
"Swimming? In that pool?" AJ excitedly asked.
"Yes" Daddy Edward replied
"I want to swim, I want to swim" AJ chants.
"Finish your ice cream then we go swimming" Daddy Edward said.
"I'm done grandpa, let's go swimming" AJ said after finishing his cone of ice cream then Daddy Edward instructs the helper to assist AJ on his swimwear.
"Why are you still here Andrew? Baka hindi ka umabot sa lunchtime" Daddy Edward asked Andrew
"I change my mind Dad, samahan ko na lang kayo ni AJ. Magpalit lang ako ng pangswimming" Andrew said then quckly left. Daddy Edward can't help but beams widely.
