I woke up to a bright light and groaned.
"You alright," someone says and I look around to see everyone there.
"I'm good but what happened," I ask sitting up.
"Lay down you need rest," Agent Burke says.
"Don't worry about it Agent Burke. I've been in worse positions," I say.
"Who were those men," Neal asks.
"Old friends," I say.
"Old friends that shoot at you," Mozzie says.
"Old friends that I pissed off," I say.
"Wait, where's the file that I had on me," I say.
"This file," Neal says holding up the folder.
"Neal give that back its mine," I say trying to grab it back but he moves out of the way.
"Finders keepers losers weepers," he says and I sigh.
"You're so childish," I say.
"I'm still the one with the file," he says mockingly.
"Just give it back it's not important to you," I say.
"You're lying in a hospital bed because of it," he kind of yells moving closer to the bed.
"And you just got played," I say grabbing the file.
"That's not fair," he says.
"Whatever. Finders keepers losers weepers," I sat mocking him.
"Okay. We can finish this later," Agent Burke cuts in.
"Haha. I win," I say.
"2 year old child," Neal mutters.
"Still older than you," I say.
"Actually, I'm older," he says.
"No more," Mozzie says.
"Anyway, who were those people," Peter asks.
Everyone was looking at me.
"Nobody important," I say shrugging my shoulders.
"Dan-," Neal starts but I cut him off.
"Don't worry. It was a wrong place. Wrong time kind of thing," I say.
Neal sighs and leaves the room.
"I pissed him bloody off, didn't I," I say and Mozzie nods following after Neal.
"When canI leave this place, Agent Burke," I sat turning head to look at him.
"Soon, but rest for now. I'll ask the doctor for your discharge papers," he says leaving.
I lay back down and notice that my arm has a sling attached to it.
I open the file and was about to read through it when Neal came through the door.
I shut the file.
"The doctor has discharged you but you're on bed rest for a week," Neal says.
