Noah lunged for the woman who had tormented him for the past 7 months through his dreams.

For 7 months he had woken up in sweaty sheets and with a serious case of libido trouble.

Peaches and thunderstorms. That was her smell; he would never mistake it for another.

She was the one.

His general, Sahran was wrong. They trio wasn't of necromancers. They had no telltale aura.

He caught hold of the woman around her petite waist and felt a jab at his pectoral.

He looked down and saw the muzzle of a gun pointed dead centre of his chest.

"Wish to be riddled with bullets, your majesty?"

His little dream fairy was a spitfire. And he loved spitfires.

"I don't think you are a necromancer. You have no aura. I wish only to talk. You and your company won't be hurt."

He heard a disapproving growl from his Collectorin, Alexander.

"What are you thinking Noah? They could be working for necromancers."

"Do we look like the kind of people who'd work for anyone?" the brown haired one asked while cocking a gun at sahran.

If Noah wasn't wrong she was the one who'd successfully bested sahran.

Noah felt a bolt of pain on his knee. Unable to stand any longer he went to his knees.

He heard his little hellion move in to action. She and her companions made a run for the door of his office. That would only lead them deeper into the manse. It didn't fit the bill. The trio didn't seem amateur enough to take a run deeper into unknown territory.

At least he hoped it was unknown to them.

He chased after her leaving 3 gaping males behind him. He couldn't let her go. Now that he'd found her...well more like she'd found him he planned on knowing exactly how that little minx had gotten into his dreams.

He heard their rapid feet on the side that lead to the great hall. Well, they'd just made his task easier. The great hall was the corner most part of the manse. There was no escape from there.

At least not till the trio chose to go the same way they came!

He skidded to a halt on reaching the hall and found...no one.

Gone.

She was gone.

Damn it! He was a fool to not have stopped her faster!

But he could feel 3 separate energies. Being a wielder of fire he could easily use his eyes as infra-red, identifying a species based on their body heat. And he could see 3 distinct body heat patterns behind the alcove at the far end of the hall. They had heat levels much higher than even lycanthropes. Interesting. Normally humans had the lowest heat levels except for vampires.

He made his way to the alcove without a sound, bending his knees and his back so he was at a very low level. If she had a weapon with her she would not expect him to confront her at such a low level.

He got to the alcove with as much stealth as possible while turning his head to give a heads up to the approaching 3 men at the entrance of the hall.

He whipped to the side, reaching behind the alcove and coming in point blank range of a gun.

"Gotcha."

Looked like he was getting very friendly with guns lately.

The only difference was that this time his 'dream girl' had 2 guns pointed two his face. And not to forget her two lackeys. The brown haired one had two guns pointed at his heart while the remaining one had a gun at his gut and a gun pointed blatantly where he would have preferred no weapons.

He looked back at the onyx eyes staring into his face. Goodness, she looked so beautiful. She was nothing like a demon female. She was not the traditional view of beauty. She had a mix of Asian and old oriental in her, eyes the shape of petals and small red lips, the bottom one provocatively plump. He was hit by powerful wave of desire again.

She advanced forward making him take steps backward, while she raised herself out of her crouched position. He rose to a standing position while keeping a clear view of the guns pointed at him.

He heard Alexander growl in rage to see his king pointed at by 6 guns.

"Don't make a rash move Alexander. I don't want these females hurt." He warned Alexander without looking at him.

"Oh don't worry! We don't plan to be hurt by you. So tell me do you have any interest left to talk? Or do you think we can leave?"

"We did not invite you so you could tell us what you humans were doing when you came crashing through the window." Noah raised a sardonic brow while tossing the question at the lass.

The brown haired girl visibly paled at his question. She began to speak a foreign tongue at a rapid pace making it impossible for him to discern anything.

His spitfire cursed from through her clenched teeth, making him very curious as to the reason.

"Trouble in paradise, ladies?" he asked not bothering to hide the smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Looks like you are going to get your wish after all. We agree to stay and answer all your questions, and don't deny that you do have many questions bumping of in that head of yours! But on one condition. You assure us shelter in your domain for the next few weeks and assurance of our safety in your home. That's all we ask."

Well, well, well! This was turning out to be a win-win situation for him.

Ever since he had realized that the woman standing in front of him had been the one to bring him moments of peace so rare in his life, never mind that it was only in his dreams he had lost any desire to hurt her. In fact he planned on keeping her.

"I agree."
