"bubbles?" I asked confusedly
"Mr. Love have you taken any..uh types of drugs or anything recently?" Dr. Tranquilli asked concerned
"no, why?"
"it seems you suffered from an overdose of some sort" He continued
"nah I haven't taken anything. the only thing was the shot that the nurse you sent gave me" I said
"nurse? what nurse, and what shot?" He asked
"the male nurse. he came here with two shots, one was huge and the other was small. he said the small one was to make me numb, after he gave it to me I had a huge headache and then blacked out. before that though I felt pain in my lower back" I explained
"call a code green" He whispered to the nurse
"I want every test possible run on him, find out what he was injected with" He told the other doctors around him
"w-what's going on?" I asked confused
"Adonis, Mr. Love, I didn't send any nurse to give you a shot" He said seriously
"what do you mean, he specifically said that you sent him to administer the shot, he even said your name"
"did you get his name?" He asked
"no, it never came up" I said now feeling like an idiot
"get started on the blood test, I'm going to find this son of a bitch" He slightly yelled at the nurse
I looked over to Dillon to see him speaking with one of the doctors. When I turned back around the nurse from this morning was sitting on the bed with an empty syringe in her hand. I could tell she noticed my scared reaction to it because she spoke up.
"don't worry, I'm just taking your blood so we can see what was injected into you"
I nodded my head then stuck out my arm so she could do what she needed. After she drew the blood she made me pee in a cup which was kind of difficult to do while sitting in a bed. She thanked me then all of the doctors left the room. It was just Dillon and I, and the security guard they made stand outside the door.
"I got you shrimp fried rice with chicken wings" Dillon said pulling out a tray of food
"thanks" I basically whispered
He placed the food on my lap then handed me a sprite, as well as a metal fork and some napkins. When he pulled out his laptop I realized that he had stopped by the apartment before coming.
"what do you want to watch first, Get Out or Split?" He asked laying down next to me with his food in hand
"either is fine" I said as I opened my food
Hearing about the faux nurse really fucked up my mind. I wasn't even hungry which was unusual for me. What scares me the most was that it was the same exact drug used on me that one time. Could it be Casey? That's impossible though, I watched him die. Or was it Dylan trying to get pay back for Damien killing Casey? That still leaves one question though. What did that nurse do to me?
