Don't let anyone tell you what to do or who to be. It isn't about them. It's about you. They say that because they are jealous of the greater opportunities you have. Don't deceive yourself by saying it's because they care. If they cared they wouldn't be blinded and would see that this isn't what you want to do. The would look you in the eye and ask you, "Is this what you want to do?"
