Rebecca’s POV
“Rebecca! Hurry up we’ll be late in church! I don’t know why it takes half an hour for you to fix that room o’ yours…” I heard my sister Miriam shout through the window of the house. Oh, yeah I too don’t know why my room gets too messy whenever my nephews come in here.

“Yeah got it! Sorry, Matty always has his way of messing up the bed covers.” I replied as I closed the door behind me..

“You got the keys?” she asked as she opened the car.

“Yes, right here. Hey, since Roger went ahead, you don’t mind if I drive right??” I said as I gave the best smile I have.

“Hmm… alright but you gotta learn how to read the signs okay? And drive in the right lane. I remember when you last did the driving we almost hit a sidewalk She replied as she handed me the car keys.

“Haha Sorry for that I wasn’t in my right mind that time, sure sis! Thanks much I jumped in the car and put the engine on…
             Lord, here we come
                                                                                     ***
We went off the car and headed for the church entrance, I held my nephew’s hand as my sister looked after her two other sons. Wow, I began to wonder when I’ll have one of my own probably 5 years from now, even 10. But anyway, let God’s will be done.

“Hey Ria, d’you think they have begun already?” I whispered as we drew near to the door. I kinda hear someone preaching already.

“Yes, probably, it’s 10 minutes past 9. Perhaps they’ve just begun She replied as she silently went on ahead inside the church. I looked back last time at the grounds of the church and went on inside too.
It was already time for the testimonies. I sat beside my sister as we listened to how people Glorified the Lord in their lives. Wow, how beautiful testimonies they have. I’ve been praying to the Lord to give me a testimony too. But until now, nothing much has happened really. I don’t even know my calling yet or, I don’t even know if I was at all called for something.

“Amen, Praise God for those testimonies... now, we move on to the next activity. Worship, let me call on Pastora Marina to lead us into worship” the emcee announced as we all stood up and prepared ourselves.

A few words of prayer and we began to sing for the Lord. This has always been one of the favorite things I do in church. And it’s even more beautiful when Pastor Marina leads it… she has the anointing I’ve never seen before in worship. Whenever she leads everyone seems to get on their knees. Wow, I don’t have anything but awe in what The Lord does through her. After almost half an hour of worshipping and all of us was filled with God’s presence.

We sat and got ready for the message. It’s Pastor Roger who will preach today, which apparently is my sister’s husband. He is a good man, really committed to his calling.

“Good morning brothers and sisters! May God’s Grace be upon us… for the last weeks God has been putting this message into my heart. Many of us has been serving in a church, being faithful to God in all ways, but still doesn’t have a clear knowledge and understanding to what exactly did God call them to be doing. Well I have news for everyone in here, every single believer in this room, has a calling…”
It’s as if the words the preacher just said went right through my heart… how exactly did my brother-in-law know the exact questions that I had in my heart? I don’t remember opening up to anybody at all.. wow, this must be God right now…

                                                                                                ***
Melchour’s POV
I slowly sat down as I looked at the notes I prepared for last night. It was about Rivers of living water. It just shocked me when I stood in that pulpit and began saying things about Grace… indeed The Lord has His way of speaking to His people if only we carry a submissive heart. Thank god for His Grace indeed.
But one thing really caught my attention, that woman whom we found lying in the street the other night, it was a surprise for someone with no exposure to scripture or anything at all to respond in that way so quickly… when I saw her I saw a very pensive woman. But when I saw her this morning, it’s as if she was another woman awakened in a dark slumber. Must be Grace…

“Pastor, the woman Johanna Dumay is about to leave she requested to relay her words of deep gratitude to you.” Said Shiela, a worker in our church, as she came in my office.

“Oh she’s leaving? Why don’t you call her in that she may say it personally?” I asked as I tidy up the table.

“Is that okay with you Pastor? I thought you might want to rest from our activity yesterday.”

“Nah, 5 hours of sleep is but enough for a man. Hehe” I replied with an assuring smile.

“Okay then, if you say so Pastor…” she said as she closed the door. I nodded in response and began to fix myself. I wonder, why am I getting so worked up … A few minutes and I heard a knock on the door.

“Come in..” I called out… Seconds and the door clicked open, the woman meekly came in with her head down. As soon as she closed the door behind her, she stood there as if waiting for the next thing to do. I sighed and motioned her to come and sit.

“You we’re gonna say something?” I asked as she sat down… she slowly lifted her head and looked at me intently… then she began to smile.

“Yes, pastor… I, uhh, came to say how much I’m grateful for what you, I mean what God did through you yesterday. It was the best thing I’ve ever experienced. And, thank you for what you did the other night, I wouldn’t know where I’d be if you didn’t take me.” She bit her lip and lowered her head again.

“Thank you, Pastor…” I couldn’t help but smile with the reactions she’s giving. When I first saw her she was as if ready to have a fight with me, now she can’t even look straight. Praise God, He has changed another life again. I pray she will be lead to a church where she’d learn and commit.

“That’s a Glory to God. I’m glad you found it great. I mean, of course who wouldn’t find God’s Presence great. I pray you continue with what has begun…” another smile was formed on her lips. Wow.

“Yes, yes certainly Pastor, I felt it once, but I never want to be away from it again… I—“
Her words we’re cut as she looked at her phone, the smile slowly disappeared.

“What’s the matter?” I asked in curiosity. She looked at me sadly.

“I really have to go now Pastor, it’s my aunt she’d go off if I don’t show myself in 15 minutes.” She replied. With that I had an idea of what her family is like.

“Oh, is that so? Hmnn… okay then, you should go, but before that is it okay if I pray for you?” She nodded as she bowed her head.

“Is it okay, if hold your hand?” I asked with a bit of embarrassment which I never had before. Whenever I prayed for someone I did this only now do I feel a bit of that and I don’t know why. She nodded in response and she closed her eyes. I then held her hand and we prayed. After that she stood up and began to leave.

“Thank you so much again Pastor… I’ll see you…. Sunday.” She gave another one of her smiles and began to open the door. The last line she gave seem to give me a feeling of bliss.

“Oh hey, brother will do…” I called out before she closes the door.

“Haha, sure Brother Pastor…” that was the last thing she said and the door closed. Now that’s a new one. Brother Pastor eh… a smile was unknowingly formed on my lips.

Anna’s POV
I hurriedly went out the church grounds and looked for a cab. Ohhh my, I wonder what my aunt will say to me. No one looked over the apartment for 2 days after all. Can’t blame her if she’s mad, but I also don’t regret going to that place. It was beautiful… a few minutes and a taxi came by, I quickly called it over and I rode.

“Vinceton subdivision, please.” As soon as I said the place the taxi drove on. I couldn’t help but think of that Pastor, or should I say, Brother Pastor. How could someone be that good at speaking? According to what Pastora Marina said, it was called anointing. So then I guess he had a really big anointing. I don’t even know if my term is right. All I know is, it was so strong. Whenever he prays, it’s as if electric goes through me. Be it a whispered or shouted prayer, same thing. Wow, God really is powerful. If I was amazed with what He does through His people. What more of God, Himself? Probably no words to describe.

After almost 10 minutes I reached my stop. I gave my fare and went down hastily. I guess my aunt is in there, stressing over how messed up the house is. Oh, that would be my fault. Why am I so messy anyway? I went in the elevator and pressed 3. And as soon as the elevator opened up I saw my aunt’s mad face hovering over me.
