Chapter 1: Pink•

Selena was a young 7 year old girl living with her mom. She had long black hair with unusual rose pink eyes. The doctors didn't have any conclusions on why this was possible, but it didn't seem to be harmful, so it was alone.

When it comes to being by herself, Selena is very mysterious, she prefers it that way. Her father was a Pokemon ranger, so he's always away for work rescuing Pokemon and people

One day, he came home for only a short period of time "Daddy!" Selena cheered, jumping to hug her father and his Minun

"Hey there baby, I'm home" he kissed his daughter's cheek and went to kiss his wife. He usually comes home twice a year, always busy being the highest top ranger ever and all

"Now baby, I won't be here for long, so I want to give you something" he said to his little girl, before taking off his backpack

"What is it, daddy?" She asked. He took out a orange egg with red waves on the bottom in his hands

"This is a very special egg, my dear. The ranger headquarters said I could keep it as my own, but I want to give it to you" he smiled, giving her the egg. she held it carefully in her small arms

"Thank you daddy" she smiled, carefully hugging the egg. He kissed the two girls and left back to the ranger headquarters without staying a few more moments

9 years later

Selena had turn 16, becoming a beautiful young lady with hair as black as night, and reached the middle of her back. She took care of the Pokemon she was given from her dad during the years like they were family

Vulpix, Dragonair, Froslass, Vaporeon, Umbreon, and Zoroark. They were all quiet and mysterious, just like she was. They would only open up to her and no one else.

She left home when she was 13, knowing she couldn't stay in that house any longer, due to her mother trying to change her, she couldn't take it anymore and left, taking her Pokemon with her.

She lived in the Unova region. After all the mess from Team Plasma and the hero, the region was once again calm.

She lived by herself in the woods in a big tree. Her best and first Pokemon, Vulpix, always stuck with her through thick and thin

One day, she sat in her tree by herself, looking up at the stars. There were dozens of them. She heard noises from under the tree and listened

"Hey, did you hear about that haunted mansion close to Anville town? It's not even on the map! Want to go check it out?" one youngster boy asked. Hm? Why are they out this far from a city or town?

"No way! a haunted mansion? That's just asking for trouble" another boy replied

"I guess you're right! man... it's getting dark, let's go home before the ghost eats us!" the first boy joked, making the next boy shiver in fear, telling him to knock it off. Selena chuckled, wanting to have a little fun with the boys

She send out her Froslass and Zoroark, and ordered Zoroark to make an illusion to make the forest turn to a hazy purple. The boys went scared. Selena had to hold in her laugh. She then ordered Froslass to float down there and scare them

Froslass did what she was told and send them crying and running to their mommy. Selena laughed out loud. She didn't always prank people, but when she did, it was super funny

She continued to laugh with her Pokemon, then decided to go visit the mansion the boys claimed was haunted

"Froslass, would you please take me to the haunted mansion by Anville town?" she smiled. Froslass happily obeyed and teleported her in front of a mansion
