Shawn's POV

-Flashback-
Today was the first day of Junior Year at Pine Ridge and my girlfriend Savannah and I were walking to school together.

"So are you excited for the first day Savannah?" I asked.

"I guess." she said.

I have a secret that I need to keep from her so she won't blab to the whole world. I actually write songs, but if they are as good as I think I could be ripped away from my family and Savannah. I love them too much to let that happen.

When we get to school we go to our lockers and get our things. Luckily we have lockers right by each other.

"Shawn!" someone said.

I turned around to see Brian.

"Hey Brian, how's it going?" I replied.

"I was wondering if you want to come over to my house to hang out." Brian suggested, "And of course Vannah can come."

I looked at Savannah and she nodded.

"Sure." I said to Brian.

"See ya then!" Brian called as he walked away.

Savannah and I walked to our first class.

-End Of Flashback-

"Shawn! Shawn! I love you!!!" Millions of girls scream.

-Flashback-

After school.

Savannah's POV

"Hey, Shawn I'm gonna go home. I don't feel good. Oh, how I hate high school food." I joked.

"Okay. Do you want me to stay?"

"No. You haven't seen Brian all summer. Go hang out."

"Okay. Bye, love you."

"Love you too Shawn."

Little did Shawn know that I felt fine.

One hour later

Shawn's POV

"Hey, B I'm gonna go use the bathroom."

"Kay dude. Hurry up though I don't want to lose Call Of Duty." Brain said. I hoped he was joking. Last time I was playing Call of duty with him and he lost he tackled me to the ground. I couldn't get up and I'm a pretty strong and tall guy. I'm around 6'2.

As I was walking up the stairs I heard a loud noise in Brian's room. I went to check it out. I opened the door and walked in to have BOO screamed at me. I must have jumped at least two feet in the air. I turn around to see Savannah.

"Oh my god! Whew! Savannah, you scared me so bad."

"I know." She giggled. "You jumped like two feet in the air."

"Oh." I said pretending to be sad. "Hey, I thought you were supposed to be at your house didn't you feel bad?"

"No, I felt fine. I just wanted to scare you." She said with the biggest smile on her face.

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna go. Do you want a ride?"

"Sure!"

We came downstairs.

"Uh... Brain?"

"Yeah, Shawn."

"I'm gonna go see you at school on Monday."Luckily our school started on a Friday.

"Okay."

I open the door for Savannah.

Then once we are both outside I jog over to the opposite side of my Jeep and open the door for her. I take her home. When I get home I get on my phone and scroll through all my social media. I go to the app store and download the first app recommended to me. It was an app called Vine. A couple of my friends had it. Then while it was downloading I was writing a song.

This Is What It Takes

I watch your troubled eyes as you rest
And I fall in love with every breath
Wonder if those eyes are really shut
And am I the one you're dreaming of
'Cause underneath the darkness
There's a light that is trying so hard to be seen
And I know this, cause I'm noticed,
A little bit shining through the seams

And if this is what it takes,
Then let me be the one to bear the pain
Oh if this is what it takes,
I'll break down these walls that are in our way
If this is what it takes

You keep on telling me I'm wasting time
But to call it wasting time, oh that's a crime
And you thinks it's crazy what I'm tryna do
Well, baby, I'm a fool for you
'Cause underneath the darkness
There's a light that is trying so hard to be seen
And I know this, cause I'm noticed
A little bit shining through it seams

And if this is what it takes,
Then let me be the one to bear the pain
Oh if this is what it takes,
I'll break down these walls that are in our way

'Cause if you don't understand yet
Then I'll never let you forget
That you don't have to do this on your own
I'll be your shoulder to lean on
I'll be your right when you feel wrong
So come on take my hand we're moving on

And if this is what it takes,
Then let me be the one to bear the pain
Oh and if this is what it takes,
I'll break down these walls, these walls that are in our way
If this is what it takes

I wrote that song about Savannah.

I looked over to my phone and Vine downloaded thirty minutes ago.I put on a mask so no one can see my face. I had my little sister Aaliyah record me singing. I sand As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber. Then I posted it and went to bed.
