There's a battle going on right now, it's the pack and Cullen's vs. a newborn army. Emily offers for me to stay at her house waiting for the boys but Amber's parents are away for their anniversary so she's staying at our house.

I wake up to dings from my phone. I look over and see Paul's name.

I stand up, making sure that I don't wake Amber up, I walk to my bedroom door and open it and then going down the stairs to the front door. I unlock it and open it to see Paul, only wearing shorts and tennis shoes. "Hey, was this really necessary?" I ask him. "Yes. Jake got hurt but Dr. Cullen said he should heal. Everyone else is alright." He says. "That's bad and good at the same time. Come in." I say. He walks in and I close and lock the door and we go into the living room. "Why is Paul here?" A familiar voice asks, scaring Paul and I. I look and see that it's Amber. "He wanted to talk because we haven't since this morning. Go back to bed." I tell her. "Alright. Hey, Paul. Goodnight, Paul." She mumbles, going up the stairs. "Night, Amber." Paul says, smiling. I hear my bedroom door close and I turn to Paul. "Thanks for telling me but it couldn't have waited for tomorrow?" I ask. "It could've but I wanted to see you." He says. "I love you." I say to him. "I love you too." He says.
