Getting to the final two Reapings, everyone! I just wish there could be more Districts, so the fun would never stop!

I have always found District Eleven very charming. All of the farms, full of crops. My stomach agreed noisily as I thought about all the delicious food waiting for me back home.

The children rounded up, not looking enthused to be there, unfortunately. The Representative did her best to cheer up the dreadfully dull children, but it was no use. (I feel bad for these Representatives, I really do! They are forced to look like the bad guys, but all they want to do is to spread Hunger Games spirit!)

The incredibly small woman skipped her way over to the female's Reaping bowl. She pulled out a slip of paper that read,

"Taylor Morris,"

Nobody made a sound as the children cleared the way for the girl.

Out of the 16-year-old section walked a tall, frail looking girl with light brown hair and dark eyebrows. She's a rather pretty thing, I'd have to say. She has a certain beauty to her; it's not as evident as some of the other Female Tributes (like Princess Rini), but she still caught my eye.

Dispite her tall frame, she took rather small, timid steps up to the stage. I was growing with frustration as her steps became slower and slower. A Peacekeeper put his hand on her shoulder, giving her a light push, quickening the pace.

As she took the stage, the Representative greeted her with much excitement.

"Tell us, Taylor, how do you feel to be District Eleven's Female Tribute this year?" She asks, ushering Taylor up to the microphone.

We all watched, waiting for Taylor to speak. I saw her lips moving, but I didn't hear a word leave her throat. She blinked innocently at the audience, but everyone just stared back at her, confused.

"I'm sorry dear, what was that?" The Representative repeats,

"Excited," the girl mutters, barely loud enough for the microphone to pick it up. She doesn't even show a hint of a smile, to match her answer.

When I asked around, everyone said that was typical Taylor. She's a very happy girl, but when you put her on the spot, she became very shy and nervous. (I hope she bucks up before interviews, wouldn't you agree?)

The Representative didn't waste time before heading to the boy Tribute.

"Jess Briz,"

Again, the audience was completely silent as the children shuffled quickly out of the way, as if the Reaping was contagious.

Out emerged a boy who looked a little younger than Taylor. He walked quickly, not prolonging the inevitable, like Taylor had. As he passes the younger boys, he reaches out and gives one of the boys a quick hug. He's so quick that the Peacekeeper doesn't even have time to separate the two.

Jess Briz; a 14-year-old hard-worker. He's pretty tall and muscular for his age, if I might add. But the thing that stuck out most to me where his beautiful green eyes, especially in contrast with his dark hair.

After the Reaping, when I was interviewing citizens of District Eleven about Jess, I was surprised to find that their worries weren't targeted towards young Jess. They were targeted towards the boy Jess had given a hug to before he took the stage, Jess' younger brother. Jackson and Jess Briz, although they were two years apart, they seemed more like best-friends, or at least twins. They did everything together.

I do love the bond between brothers; very charming.

Also, when I asked around, I found quite a number of bitter females. Apparently young Jess attracts quite a flock of ladies, and never has the time of day for them. They say he's the only boy in the District that isn't chasing the girls around. Instead he's off working, or protecting Jackson.

Tsk, tsk, Jess. You can't leave these poor girls hanging!

So what are your thoughts on District Eleven's Tributes? Do you think Taylor is hiding something behind that shy mannerism of hers? Is she more than just a pretty face? Or has young Jess caught your eye? Do you think his love for his brother will make him more determined over the others? Will he be fighting extra hard to return home to little Jackson?

Like always, leave a comment below with your opinions!

Happy Hunger Games
