Families go on in their fast moving lives, but not all family's lives are the same. There's one in particular, two young children, the girl is 5 and the little boy is 4, both beautiful. Then there's an older Sister to these two toddlers, she was much older, about to turn 17 in fact, and she wouldn't let you forget it. A lovely looking mother and a handsome father, both always smiling. A happy family is what it seemed, but of course you know all families have their problems and spats. But this family could be represented by a baby blue slaughter house. Sure it looks pretty, but despicable things happen inside.
The father started driving two of the children back home. The two's names were Gloria, and Alexander, both happy as can be, unaware that their father had hard liquor on his breathe. He swerved around and almost clipped a tree, but as much damage as it could have done the children were laughing as they lean on each other every sharp turn he made, yelled to go faster and faster. The father was almost drooling as he sat at the driver's seat, with one hand on the wheel and the other giving himself drinks of his "special juice". The kids wondered why they could never drink out of their dad's cup or have any of his juice, they always shared with him... But this thought quickly moved on as they both got distracted by a small noise. The little boy smiled as he heard almost a squeak, whispered in his left ear. It was so quiet he could barely notice. Gloria was already distracted and grabbed one of Alexander's and started playing with it, this of course got his attention and took his mind off of the little noises he heard. They both laughed loudly as they played, smiling as big as ever. The car stopped urgently and they looked out the window they were home. They both unbuckled themselves beings that their father had passed out in the yard and had completely forgotten them, of course they were used to it by now so they became pretty skilled at doing things on their own. They ran inside the house to find their mother passed out on the couch and their sister to be nowhere in sight. They didn't pay any attention to this and ran to each of their own bedrooms, to play games where they had left off. At the end of the day at almost dark their sister Sarah showed up with Taco Johns, a pack and a pound. All three ate and left nothing for each of their parents. Sarah took care of them most the time and had to work another job to support the children as well as herself. She dropped out of highschool when she was 15, because it was very clear that she would have to become a makeshift mother for these kids.
Sarah put them to bed first Alexander, then Gloria. Gloria mentioned to her sister that she heard something talking super quietly in the walls, so quietly that barely anyone could hear them. Sarah being encouraging to kids to have imagination; that she wasn't able to have, and pretended to hear something from the wall. Gloria smiled at Sarah. Sarah didn't take any of that into serious contemplation, she just thought that Gloria might have an imaginary friend.
