Chapter 37: Betrayal

~~~This Time~~~

I finished making the herb tea from China and willed the unconscious girl to drink it. I know it doesn't taste the best, its bitter as hell, but I know from experience that it will help this girl recover. I take a good look at her and try to gestimate the amount of time it will take for her to recover. Based an her size (This girl is about as big as you. She's just a smidge smaller.) I'd say she's about my age.

"We should probably leave her alone to rest." Char says to me.

"Right, we'll check on her tomorrow." I say back to him.

With that said we leave the room. It's a short walk back to the Dining Hall and we take a seat. Once that's done, I'm bombarded with complaints/ questions. Char is completely ignored. They probably don't trust him yet. I reason with myself.

"OKAY! ONE AT A TIME, I CAN ONLY UNDERSTAND SO MUCH!" I shout at the table.

Everyone quiets down and waits for me to cool off. I point at Alphys and wait for her to speak.

"W-where did you g-go this time?" She asks timidly.

"SAO, aka Sword Art Online." I reply simply.

I point at Undyne and let her continue, "What did you get?"

"Lava Dragon Crystal."

Toriel, "Did you get hurt?"

"Yes."

Toriel looks like she's going to say more, but I stop her. Asriel, "What do you mean, 'Lava Dragon Crystal'?"

"Lava Dragon Crystal." Is all I say.

Mettaton, "What type of fashion was in this SAO?"

"Have a picture." I drone and throw a pic of my SAO skin at him.

Papyrus, " WHY DID YOU GO ON AN ADVENTURE WITHOUT ME?!?"

"Because you would've been killed." (This is in your monotone voice)

Sans, "he didn't try anything, did he?" Sans gestures to Char.

I give him a black stare and stay quiet. After a bit, I abruptly stand up and leave. "I can't deal with this right now." I mumble and head to the (F/A) Closet. Once inside, I bury myself into the pillows and try to deal with the soreness in my body. That fight happened a week ago, why am I still sore? With that, sleep welcomed me with open arms.

Until shouting happened.

~~Sans POV~~

(Y/N) storms out of the Dinning Hall and heads to her room. what's that all about? Is the thought in my head.

"Well... that was rude. Especially to me. ME. Mettaton, only the greatest monster of all time!" Mettaton shouts and starts being dramatic.

"Yeah, she didn't seem like her old, cheery self." Asriel notes.

"WHAT DID SHE MEAN WHEN SHE SAID I WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED?" Papyrus asks, seeming afraid.

"In SAO, monsters are evil and attack players. Like in video games." Char explains. Papyrus visibly starts to shake and I glare at him.

"if you're so smart, do you know why she's acting like that?" I challenge.

"Actually, I do. This happens when she's sore from an adventure. Her house is so loud that it doesn't help at all so she gets sour and everyone gets the idea and cools off. She'll be back To normal tomorrow." Char states.
