10. Consequence

Alissa's POV

It has already been three weeks since my NYC trip with Jake.

We are now back with the team10 squad which we missed a lot

Neels' and I already settled everything over the phone

He and Jake also talked about what happened to them in NYC and decided to reconcile

Jake and I agreed that the best thing to do is just forget about that night and act as if nothing happened

"Alissa!" Jake yelled at me as he entered my room holding his vlogging camera

"Mygosh, Jake! you scared me! what do you want?" I yelled back at him

"Are you even serious, bro?" He asks in disbelief

And instead of saying something, I just gave him a questioned look

"Alissa, we are filming a team10 video at the beach today"

I then remembered him telling me about it a week ago

"Give me an hour to prepare" I told Jake

"An hour?! What the hell you've been sleeping all day for the past weeks! you're being lazy!" Jake said raising his voice

"I'm sorry, okay? Can you just go so that I can get ready?"

"Fine but just an hour or else we'll leave you" Jake said to me

I rolled my eyes "Okay! okay" I said with annoyed tone and he finally left the room

I haven't gone to the beach for a very long time and I'm so glad that we are filming here today.

I just finished doing my scenes for the video.

I'm currently sitting on the sand, breathing in the view and the sound of the waves. I've never been this relax for a long time.

"Alissa" I heard Jake calling my name behind me

I turned my head to him "yeah?"

"Can i sit next to you?" He asks

I didn't say anything and just nod my head

"I just wish Neels is here with us" I stated

"He will be here soon"

"Yea but we don't know exactly when"

"he could be here tomorrow you know" Jake said trying to make my negative thoughts to positive

"Or he couldn't" I insisted

"You know what, let's just forget about that for a second. Why not enjoy what you have right now and who you are with, stop thinking of someone who isn't here because you'll just distant yourself from the people around you" he told me as he pointed out where the rest of the squad is

I gave him a smile and he stood up to offer me his hand and we both made our way to where the other t10 members are.

"I want everyone to gather in here please" Jake called out everyone

"What is this for, Jake?" Erika asks

"Well, Alissa has to say something for you all" Jake said as he look at me in the eyes telling me that I got this
