Ow! My back! I slept so well I fell on the floor. I can get used to that except the falling on the floor part. Anyway, what time is it?

You turn over on to find the clock on the table. 6: 46 a.m. Still? Now, what do I do? I'm sure I'll be bored. You decided to sneak out for a few hour and stretch your muscle. Your mind not daring to tell you to just sneak out and never return. After the whole thing that had happened in your apartment, it was better to not get a reenactment about it.

Stealthily you creep down the hall and is finally reaching the living room.

"Where do you think you're going?" Loki's voice spooks you making you jump a little bit. You turned at his furious face.

"M-me?" you pointed at yourself and he nods. "Nowhere... Pft... why would I... Nowhere, I was going nowhere." Nowhere means out of this building, exactly.

"You were trying to leave the building." he said. Your eyes widened then tried to relax.

"Why... Why would I do that?"

"You just said it in your mind." he rolled his eyes at you.

"Stay away from my mind! It's the only privacy I have!" you said.

"What makes you think I'll obey you?" he said walking towards you, cornering you until you reached the wall. He saw the fear in your face.

"I'll think of something." Would he look? He wouldn't, right? Urgh! I hate it when I have to remember this. Damn that co-worker of mine sending me that disgusting picture of him...

You imagined the image of the picture he sent you that have been stuck in your mind for 3 whole weeks haunting you in your dream. As you thought Loki looked into your mind again.

"That is the most... Midgardian minds are simply full of garbage. No wonder you cannot compare to us gods!" he said backing away, shaking his head to take the picture of his head.

"I warned you plus I didn't want to see it!" You defended. He finally calmed down and look at you. He crossed his arm expecting an explanation. "It was sent to me by a person I wished I've killed but I didn't."

"You hesitated. As if he has something to do with you. Midgardian's are truly weak."

"Will you stop putting yourself above us?! You know, I may have a long list of people I hate but I won't go around killing them just because I can..." Now that you're around I think I can make an exception!

"Why not? They are all useless and insignificant. You cannot simply stand in their level when you are far more majestic..." You heard right but Loki was quick to bury it. "For an ignorant midgardian."

"A compliment was hidden in that insult." you smiled at him grabbing his arm but he took it back.

"If so, I wouldn't know about it."

"Whatever. Admit it or not I know there's a compliment in it." you smiled turning your back from him.

"Wait..." you gave him a glance but he remained his annoyingly calm and cold posture. "Where are really you going?"

"Outside to buy some books or something." you replied. You sense a hint of joy in him.

"Books?" he said. I know that was a smile... even if it's so itsy-bitsy. It froze you knowing that you have seen a cold 'god' smile.

"Is that smile there that I see. Why? Books makes you excited?" you stuck your face closer to him making him uncomfortable. You didn't mean to, you just want to stick on his private matter since he did that to you.

"No, it doesn't" he answered pushing you gently away. His hands were on your shoulder as he did so and he hesitated to take his hands back looking away from you.

"Where are you going?" a voice of a woman asks. You gave a spooked glance at her and saw Natasha leaning at the table of the dining room. Oh, poop!

"Uhm... Outside?" you said as if asking a request.

"Great! Let's go shopping. I suppose Tony's choice of wardrobe is not your style. I'll just go get ready." shocked at the moment you sat on the floor.

In your perspective, as someone who almost exposed her secret, she should not be interacting with you the way that she does right now!

Is, is she planning to kill me or something? I'd go for the latter but she is the Black Widow... former it is then.

"Y/N?.. Why? Wh-what's wrong?" Loki got nervous because of it. He sat beside you, not knowing what to do. Natasha came back confused at how Loki was acting, you didn't noticed though your mind was in some important matter. Loki didn't dare to look at your mind again.

"You... You're coming with me?" you asks, standing.

"Why not? It would be fun." she said forcing a smile that you wouldn't have noticed. She's still uncomfortable with you.

"But---" you tried to ask about it.

"Don't say a word and get it out of your system quietly." she ordered and faced the invisible 'god' in your eyes since you ignored him earlier. "Loki, get dress."

"Don't tell me what to do mortal!" he yelled. You walk next to Natasha who was getting comfortable at your presence.

"Habit of his?" you said easing the mood of the awkward air.

"Pretty much." she shrugged. She went towards Loki not as close as you did but close enough for him to give that cold aura of his. "Look, here, Loki. You're Y/N's babysitter and she's going somewhere, with me, and you're coming or else."

"I don't threaten easily." he replied.

"Please, Loki!" you gave him the doe eye's and cling to his arm. You know that won't help and you can't make him obey you, not if he thinks it's his idea. "Hey, Natasha. How about one of the avengers escorting us? I heard a cute blonde guy call him brother yesterday, should he be a proper substitute?"

"You mean, Thor? I guess." she smiled at you as if knowing your plan to control the god. You smiled at her and tried to figure out which room is Thor's room.

"There is absolutely no future where my brother will escort Lady Y/N. I'm her babysitter and I should be with her. Let's go to where ever you two are going." he said pulling you by the arm towards his waist.

"Let's go, lovebirds." Natasha's word hinted a blush on your cheeks making you a bit uncomfortable with Loki. You just followed her to the elevator.
