When the three-day stint at Batangas ended, tahimik kaming umuwi pabalik sa Manila. Jasper was quietly sitting beside me habang patingin-tingin sa paligid—as if may mang-a-assasinate sa akin sa gitna ng SLEX. I didn't think Evan and the other guys' presence were helping dahil hindi naman nabawasan ang pagiging paranoid ni Jasper.
I just threw him the neck pillow. Hindi na ako nagsalita dahil pagod ako at wala ako sa mood na mabara niya.
I was preparing to sleep when I heard him mutter, "Thanks."
At kinagat ko nang matindi iyong labi ko para walang lumabas sa bibig ko na kahit anong salita. 'Don't destroy the moment, Siobhan! Minsan lang magthank you 'yan! Sulitin mo na!' I reminded myself. Buti nga hindi nagalit sa akin nung sinabunutan ko, e! Magaling pa naman ako sumabunot. Hindi kasi ako makalaban sa suntukan sa mga kapatid ko kaya iyong kulot na buhok na lang nila ang nilalabanan ko.
For the rest of the ride, I kept sleeping... kinda. When we reached Alabang, I was already awake, but I pretended to still be asleep. Ewan ko. Nahihiya kasi ako kay Jasper and it's bugging me real bad.
When the car stopped, I knew we finally reached home. Narinig ko na bumukas iyong pinto ng sasakyan.
"She's sleeping," mahinang boses na sabi ni Jasper.
"Should we wake her up?" Evan asked.
Sandaling katahimikan.
"No. She's tired," Jasper replied. Nakakainis!
"Should... we leave her here?" Evan asked. "Aww! I was just kidding!" sabi niya. Pakiramdam ko binatukan siya ni Jasper. Akalain mo may ganitong side pala si Jasper? Puro kasi coldness at pang-iinis ang pinapakita niya sa akin, e...
Dapat kaya palagi na lang akong magpanggap na tulog?
"Kellan," Jasper called. I didn't know why... but I could feel his eyes on me.
"Yes, Sir?"
Wow... Sir pala si Jasper. I should really ask Addie to dig deep. I felt like there's more to Jasper than what he's showing.
"Carry Sparkplug to her room." Tapos naramdaman ko na binubuhat ako ni Kellan. Bakit si Kellan?!
"You're really keeping distance, huh?" I heard Evan tell Jasper.
"Shut up," Jasper replied.

"Mags," I heard Psalm's voice. I felt him poking my sides.
"She's sleeping," Austin said.
"Nah. She's faking sleep. She knows Mom's waiting for her."
Stupid Psalm! I couldn't wait for him to get married and move out of the house! I should really start setting him up! Hindi naman ako makakaalis sa bahay na 'to, so I should just device a plan to get him out of the house.
I heard Cohen sigh. Baby boy. I knew he wanted to stop Psalm, but he's still a baby, so he just let his stupid brothers to do what they want.
"Mom's still going to talk to her. Let her rest for tonight," I heard Saint say.
Psalm huffed. "Mary's making you all soft and gooey."
"Whatever," Saint replied. "Let's just play ball."
Nang makalabas na sila, at saka lang ako nakapagdilat ng mga mata. I immediately shut the door locked and then called Addie.
"Busy?" I asked her.
