Mabel threw herself onto her bed curled herself into a ball and sobbed. She wanted to believe he was really but it all made no sense!
"Mabel?" She heard Dipper's soft concerned voice breathe out.
"I DONT UNDERSTAND!" She yelled. She knew her parents could hear, but she didn't care.
"Mabel. It's ok, I'm here." Dipper reassured.
She didn't respond, but he knew she heard. He floated closer to her and rubbed her back.
Mabel tensed at how cold his hand felt, despite her wearing a sweater. Then she relaxed.
"Im sorry" she whispered.
"You shouldn't be" he responded.
"I don't understand"
"Me neither if I'm completely honest" he reponded smiling sadly.
He froze when he heard his sister let out a soft sob.
It felt worse than any physical pain he could ever endure.
"M-Mabel?" He stuttered.
"I missed you so much." She let out between sobs.
"Me to." Dipper said, finally allowing himself to cry.
Mabel sat up and looked out her window, she wiped her tears.
She suddenly gave her brother a tight hug.
Dipper hugged back the best he could.
"I'm sorry." Dipper breathed out.
"Why?"
"For all the pain I caused."
Mabel laughed.
"That doesn't matter anymore, you're here now." She said as she hugged her brother.
Mabel must have been exhausted, because she fell asleep hugging him.
Dipper picked her up slowly, and placed her gently on her bed. He covered her with her pastel purple blanket, and placed a kiss on her forehead.
Dipper fazed out the window. He looked up at the royal blue sky, he spotted a forest outside of town. He knew where he was going to next.
