Chapter 99

Paige POV

After Shawn left for New York he hasn't left my mind and I should really call him. I decide to call him, good thing it's the same time zone. I get his contact and call him. He picks up within the first ring

Shawn: "hello??" He sounds so confused. Why? I'm about to hang up but decide not to

Me: "Shawn." I say very quietly

Shawn: "you okay? Hold on let me get in my room okay?" I nod thinking he can see but can't.

Shawn: "okay I'm here. What's up?" I take a deep breathe

Me: "I'm sorry. That I didn't tell you-"

Shawn: "no." He hesitates and I'm extremely confused "I'm sorry I yelled. Being mad for no reason. I shouldn't have been mad" I start to cry

Me: "hey can you do something for me?"

Shawn: "yeah of course. Name it Paige and I'll do it"

Shawn POV

I get to the address that Paige sent me to and I'm still on the phone with her

Me: "okay I'm here where to next?"

Paige: "lot 56" my heart drops and I know what that means. I know why I have flowers in my hand and Paige was so hesitant to tell me. I get to the lot number and I find something horrifying

Me: "Melissa lark? Wait Paige that's your last name."

Paige: "Shawn meet my mom" I can hear her crying and it breaks my heart

Me: "hey hey! Listen to me. I'm here talk to me"

Paige: " no talk to her."

I hesitate and kneel to the tomb stone. I place the phone a good distance away so I could be real and let my emotions out

Me: "hi I'm Shawn. Paige's boyfriend. She is very special to me. She makes me happy. She makes me smile when I don't want to smile. I'm a dork and she's a dork. So I guess we are perfect for each other. She is my adventure buddy. She helps me when I'm stressed, even when I'm annoyed at her I still think of her. She's my everything. She's my world. She makes me happy."
