Spring Break(Part 1)

I laughed. "They just remodeled it. It's nothing too serious. Just a house"

"Wish my house looked like this" he said lowly.

"What?" I asked but he didn't reply. I got out the car and got my bags. Lucas helped.

"What if they don't like me?" He asked

"Lucas. It's okay. They're gonna love you" I shook the thoughts of Lucas and I off because we didn't even discuss what we are fully yet. We don't even have a label, but he's stressing over what my people will say about him. I was terribly confused. I took out my key and opened the door

"SURPRISE!" Everybody yelled when I walked in. I smiled and shook my head

"Y'all never fail" I laughed.

"Awwww look at my baby girl" pops said coming up to me. I hugged him for a long time

"I missed you pops" I never realized how much I really missed him until now

"I missed you too ken" he sighed.

"Awwwww! THATS ENOUGH! ENOUGH!" Odell said separating us. "Too early in the party for tears" I laughed as Odell hugged me tight.

"O let me go" I hit his arm

"I just missed you so much"

"Damn. Did I miss it?" Ethan asked coming out the kitchen with ice cream

"YES" everybody yelled

"ETHANNNN" I ran to him. He hugged me and picked me up

"Aww baby girl"

"Damn somebody got their weight up huh? You can pick me up?" I looked at him seeing he got bigger

"Yea that's these diets the coaches got me on. And you got your weight down. I see you getting a little slim"

"Well you know" I spun around

"Calm down. You still ain't there yet" he joked. I hit his arm and smacked my lips

"Ken" lourie said with a fake smile

"Lourie." Was all I said then hugged Jonathan

"I missed you Cheryl!"

"I missed you too. And your secret has been safe with me" she whispered. I nodded. Then I hugged Micah and everybody else too

"So. Ken. Who's your friend?" Pops asked looking at Lucas.

Lucas just stood there and smiled

"OH! Everybody this is Lucas. Lucas is. He's" I thought for a second. "My boyfriend". Lucas looked at me for a second then smiled

"Well nice to meet you young man. I'm Walter carter. I'm her father, and your new nightmare" pops said shaking his hand

"Yes sir. I'm Lucas. Lucas James." Lucas said and shook his hand

"OK EVERYBODY! THE POTATO SALAD IS DONE" Linda said coming out the kitchen. "Ken!" She said running to me

"Hey mrs. Linda" I greeted her. "This is my boyfriend Lucas. Lucas this is my soon to be stepmother, Mrs. Linda"

"I don't know about all that, but I'm her fathers girlfriend. How you doing sugar?" She said hugging Lucas.

Lucas laughed. "I'm doing good ma'am"

"Well I'm going check on the barbecue. Y'all just get comfortable" pops said then walked off. "Kenyanna! We have to talk later" he eyed me. Oh brother!

"Come on Lucas. Let's get my stuff to my room" I said walking upstairs with him behind me

We finally made it to my room and I just put the suitcases in my closet for now
