- Edward's -

I knew this was the right time to tell her. To tell her that I have fallen in love with her. It's been five years, and my feelings for her have not changed a wee bit. No wait, scratch that, my feelings for her have only grown deeper and deeper that being friends is not enough. We were given a one-month vacation after our latest movie "In Your Eyes" has been a success! We put all our efforts to film and promote this movie to make our fans happy. Without them, we wouldn't be here - Maymay and I. I believe that our fans - MayWard family - would understand that we need the break too.

I decided that I go to Germany for my vacation. No, I wasn't alone. I figured that since we both have vacations, I asked her if she could come with me. Maymay was surprised and excited at the same time when I let her know that everyone was waiting for her in Germany. Of course, she didn't say yes right away as she needed permission from her mom and Mama Ludy. But since they trust my family too much, it was easy to get a yes from them. I also believe that in Germany, would be the best and the right time to tell her what I really feel. I wouldn't want to miss this opportunity since confessing Germany would be very special.

So now here we are, we just got out from the doors of Frankfurt airport, as we pushed our carts. I looked at Maymay's faciaal reaction. I laughed since she was just shocked at everything she's seeing.

"Germany, bai!" She stopped pushing her cart and started to shake me from excitement.

"Salamat, Eduwardoo!" I couldn't help but smile at what she said. This is typical Maymay, she always make sure to thank everyone right away and never leaves it last minute. We continued to push our carts as we search for my family. I glanced over at her, still seeing her smile plastered on her face.

"Maymay!" Laura screamed at the top her lungs and I saw her running towards us - towards Maymay and hugged her. I'm the brother, why is she always like this? My dad and my sister picked us up since my mom was busy making dinner for us.

We all gave each other hugs before going to the parking lot. The ride home was fun. My dad asked about how our flight was and shared to us how they were all excited to see us. Maymay couldn't contain her excitement that everytime she tells her stories, she would squeal in between her statements. Seeing at what's happening right now, my happiness was just too much that I feel like my smile was reaching my ears. My family don't really know that I would be confessing to her here in Germany, but once they'd found out, I'm sure they would be happy for me, for us - since I see how much they love Maymay.

We all got to our house and unloaded all our stuff from the car. My mom opened the door and of course screamed Maymay's name! Everyone was just so happy to see each other. And I just wished that it would always stay like this.

My mom served her specialty "Saurbraten", a German pot roast, partnered with salad, which I know Maymay wouldn't like.

"Maymay, eat gulay." I reminded her. She stared at me as if she was mad.

"Hanggang Germany, gulay pa rin ba! Pwede bang mag-enjoy na lang muna." Everyone  laughed  as she knows that all of us, Barbers wouldn't let her eat a lot of meat as we wanted to take care of her. She wouldn't win. Especially not in Germany.

She would be staying in our guest room for the duration of her stay here. We would be staying here for 2 weeks, so my mom made sure that everything will be comfortable for Maymay. I went to her room and knocked on her door so that she knows that I was here.

"Edward! Kagulat ka!" She was unpacking her things and organizing them in the closet.

"Yung bahay niyo no, ang laki! Grabe" She was still surprised in everything that she sees in Germany right now. I couldn't help but giggle at her actions because of how cute she was.
