The pressure was overwhelming and the tension in the car was too thick,
"Where to?" I asked keeping my eyes focused on the road so I didn't crash the car.
"I'll direct you, turn left here" she said and I followed,
"Did this happen on Saturday?" I asked glancing at her momentarily,
"Ah so you do know what's going on" she replied, her hand still putting pressure on her wound,
"Barely",
"Good, and if you value your life you would keep it that way",
"That's what everyone says, so how'd you get hurt?" I asked her,
"I got hurt, the stitches opened" and I nodded, "Listen Alex just because your helping me doesn't make us friends okay, I-"
She didn't get to finish because she groaned loudly as I passed over a pothole and the car jerked.
"Sorry!" I apologised profusely but she didn't reply, "Kasey?" I asked glancing at her but she had her eyes shut.
I expected the worst but as I kept my eyes on her I noticed she was still breathing and I exhaled a sigh of relief, "Kasey?" I asked again but she was unconscious.
"Shit!" I cursed as I tried shaking her but she wasn't waking up, her wound was bleeding more freely now since her grip had loosened and I used one hand to drive the steering wheel while the other was on her wound, the blood seeped through on my hand and I reminded myself not scream.
I hated blood, but not so much that I had a phobia of it or I'd pass out at the sight of it but I hated it.
My hands were shaking at it was dangerous for me to be driving in this state but I needed to get Kasey help.
Which reminded me,
I have absolutely no clue where I'm going.
I cursed again and wiped the blood off my hand and onto my white tank top. Great, now I look like a freaking murderer.
I grabbed Kasey's phone from her pocket, trying to stay focused on the road, thankfully she hadn't put in a password so I opened it up to her contacts and tapped on Logan's name.
He declined, probably because he was in class but I called him again. Once again he declined. I nearly threw the phone because I was getting frustrated but her ringtone played and Logan's name flashed up on the screen.
Hallelujah!
"Kasey what the hell? I nearly got kicked out of class because you keep callin-"
"Logan!?"
"Alex?!" his voice was laced in disbelief, "Are you okay? What's wrong? Why are you calling me through Kasey's phone?" he questioned me,
"Kasey's with me, she said her stitches opened up and she was telling where to go but she's lots too much b-blood and she's unconscious and I have no idea what to do!" I practically yelled over the phone, putting it on speaker and applying pressure on Kasey's wound with my hand again.
"Fuck, okay Alex, calm down. It's going to be fine, I'm going to get the boys and I'll tell you where to go don't worry. Alex? Alex are you listening?"
Suddenly the car swerved right and cars honked around us and I managed to get back on track but I was too busy focusing on the road and trying not to swerve again to reply.
"Yep, yes sorry"
"Alex are you okay?" he asked worriedly and I heard his footsteps running somewhere, probably to find the guys.
