~two weeks later~
january twenty, two thousand seventeen

danielle was heading to cheerleading practice-

oh right, cheerleading.

danielle joined the squad in her junior year, but stopped going for awhile, after her break up with chase.

she thought after her break up, her love life stopped there.

that is, until gerard.

the cheer squad alwats told her to get back, since their routines always need one more person, and that certain person was danielle.

after a few days of persuasion from her squad, she finally went.

and they were preparing for to cheer  in the first game, which was in six days.

"one, two, three-NO!-i meant, you got it wrong!"
the captain, julia, shouted.

gladly, she wasn't shouting at danielle, because she did everything flawlessly. she did the routine smiothly, no mistakes.

"hey danielle, come here and teach the right moves."
julia told danielle, and she slowly went to the front.

she did the routine all over again, and everyone seemed to get it. an applause erupted after she did it, and everyone was impressed.

all of them finally got it, and julia was finally impressed, and made everone go home.

after a long day of practice, she went out of the gym, saying goodbye to one of her teammates, alexis.

"yeah, i'll see you on monday. bye!"
danielle shouting, going out the gym.

she didn't notice gerard, as she was on her phone, checking her facebook.

"oh, you're done already!"
gerard, looking up from his phone.

she was startled, and surprised to see him waiting. this didn't happen normally, even when gerard had practice.

"yeahh...what are you doing here?"
she asked, her eyebrows rose.

"boyfriend duties."
he smirked while adding a wink.

danielle blushed from embarassment, and covered her face with her hands, she didn't want to be teased by gerard anymore, but he still noticed.

"even if you cover that beautiful face of yours, i know you're still blushing."
gerard said, smirking again.

"oh, god."
danielle muttered to herself, as she walked away from him.

"hey, hey, wait up!"
gerard said while running up to her.

danielle stopped on her tracks and faced gerard, to whatever he's gonna say.

"i was wondering, wanna like, get dinner somewhere?"

"is this our first date?"
danielle asked, quite excited.

"you could call it that."
he smiled, and again, adding a wink.
