class finally ended,
and they both got out.
he chased her down,
and finally got her.
"hey, what's happe-"
and a red mark was made on his face.
and cue an uncomfortable silence.

"you've done it again."
"congratulations for making me feel something that was never real."
and that, she walked away.
and that, he stood there confused.

tears flowed down her rosy cheeks,
as she walked down the hallway.
she told herself,
"that's what you get for giving him another chance."

he looked everywhere for her,
but stopped.
it was no use.
he couldn't get her back.
and with that,
he walked away.
but he realized something,
"oh no."
that only meant one thing
she saw the kiss he shared with his other girlfriend.
his other one.
that other girl who shouldn't be part of his life.
and to think,
this was the start of their break.
christmas break.
