Perrie's POV

"Will you just tell me where we're going?" pouted Jade, who was insanely jittery in the passenger seat of my car.

I laughed, and grabbed her hand gently.

"It's a surprise, babe." I replied, making a left turn. Jade was always the impatient type. Never wanting to wait for things. It was nearly noon, and I was taking Jade somewhere special for our 7 month anniversary. I was praying that she would like what I had planned..

After about 10 more minutes of hearing Jade singing along to the radio, and following the directions on my phone, we pulled up to a vacant park, which wouldn't be vacant for much longer.

"We're here, baba." I told Jade, who looking very curious. She gazed at me, smiled, then opened her door. I closed my door afterwards, and met her at the front of the car, holding her hand.

"Let's have a little walk." I told her.

"I'm always up for a walk with you." she said sweetly, kissing the back of my hand, making me smile like an idiot. It was a clear spring day, and I don't think it could be any prettier. I just had to find where I was going now..

It took maybe 7 minutes to find the perfectly set out picnic laying underneath an oak tree.

"Perrie.." Jade said in awe, covering her mouth with both hands. The look on her face was priceless.

"Is that for us?" she asked, her eyes glittering with happiness. I nodded and kissed her cheeks.

"Happy 7 month anniversary, baba."

She squealed in delight, and ran to the picnic spot, then flopped down onto the blanket.

"It's really soft." she said with a giggle. I laughed, and sat next to her, unpacking the basket of food. I had packed sandwhiches, chips, fruit, and a bottle of wine that Jade favored. We ate and talked for what seemed like forever, and I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. The way the sunlight made her hair glisten was extremely beautiful. I couldn't get enough of this girl. She was such an angelic figure, even when she didn't think so. I never felt more in love with anyone. I loved Jade Amelia Thirlwall more than anything.

After talking and eating and laughing, the sky wasn't so beautiful anymore. It was turning an ugly grey, and I was starting to think it was time to pack up and go.

"Baba, it's about to rain. I think we should pack up."

"I wanna dance in the rain with you." Jade said simply, the first few drops of rain falling from the sky. I smiled, and got up.

"May I have this dance, Jade Amelia Thirlwall?" I asked, holding out my hand.

"Absolutely, Perrie Louise Edwards." she said, grabbing my hand and standing up.

We stepped out from underneath the tree, and felt the cool rain trickle down on us. I grabbed Jade's waist, while she wrapped her arms around my neck. There was no music, but there was beauty in the air. Having Jade in front of me, her hazel brown eyes gazing back at me, everything seemed perfect. It was her and I, me and her, and us alone.

"You're beautiful in the rain." I told her, picking her up and twirling her around, making her laugh.

"Not as beautiful as you." she replied, running her hand through my wet hair. I closed my eyes and took a breath of relief.

I opened them again, and instantly grabbed her cheeks, and crashed my lips into hers. The rain was freezing, but it didn't feel as cold when I was kissing Jade. A certain warmth would spread throughout my body, making everything feel perfect.

"This has been the best day of my life." I said softly, watching the rain drops drip down her cheeks.

"Not mine." she replied, shocking me for a moment.

"The best day of my life Perrie, was the day I looked into your eyes, and told myself you were the one."
