"Hello Mr. Strider." someone said. You turned around to look who it was. It was Dave's ecto boyfriend, John Egbert.
"Sup nerd." You responded, smiling. You were glad to see he was alive, because if he wasn't, Dave would be without a boyfriend and crying a river. You pulled him into a hug. Then, you decided to jump into the pit of kids.
"roar!" you said, jumping on everyone. They all started laughing. You had forgotten that you lost Bro, you watched him get bitten, but that was in the past. This is the present, so you embraced it. You already felt like you were at home again.
