The blade caressed the skin of my wrist, as the blood dripped down my arm to the porcelain sink. I sighed in bliss as the pain from my heart escaped. "One," I said aloud. "Two." The cuts were adding on. "Three," I chanted, until the blood caused me to faint.

When I woke up, the world was fuzzy. My room blurry, the posters on my wall popped against my vivid eyes. I turned my head, squinting at the clock; 4:30am, it read. I groaned, realizing it's Monday and I have hell to attend. I mean school.
I laid in my bed for a while thinking. Suddenly I remember the reason why I fainted. The cuts. I look down at the slices in my skin, the art on my wrist filling my emptiness.
Suddenly it was 5am.
