Q: When did you decide to write on Wattpad? Was there any reason?

A: I decided to write on Wattpad about a few years ago when I created my first book idea. I still remember the idea, and I will be using it to create a book soon. I still love the idea. When I started writing, I personally thought it was good, but then realized as I read it... I didn't do it well. It continued on like that - me making the beginnings of stories that I'd soon take down because I thought they were awful. Then, my book The Good Girl's Return came along. I'd previously been writing chapters that were only about 200 words long, but with this the chapters were 3000 words long, and I loved that I could do that with this one, so I posted it.

I've always been very passionate about writing ever since 2nd grade. I'd created little short stories, and wanted to be an author. I still do, a reason I write and publish chapters as frequently as I do.

Q: How or where did you get your inspiration to write your Badass Girl book(s)?

A: I got my inspiration after reading the book Paper Towns, because I thought Margo was so badass to just up and run away and have the guts to do it. I loved that. And naturally, I used the same exact person that played Margo in my book as the face of Kehlani - Cara

Q: Which book has been the most fun to write?

A: Definitely Code Name: Legend Liv and/or Chronichles of a No-Show.

Q: How would you describe yourself?

A: I'm... Different. It depends on who I'm around. When I'm around my best friends Emma and Sara, I'm about as close to insane as you'll see. Around anyone else, I'm a very calm person but I still let that side slip a little.

Q: What is the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

A: Probably the fact that I feel like a failure when I don't update every day like normal. I typically update any one of my posted books a day. It depends on my mood - I'm bipolar- so it depends on what mood I'm in to write.

Q: What is your personal opinion on Badass girl characters?

A: They are incredible! I love that the clichè of bad boys is broken within these characters of independence.

Q: What is one of your favorite Wattpad novels and why is it your favorite?

A: Oh my god. It has to be Pause and/or Rewind. (Books previously known as His Bubblegum Klutz and The Return of His Bubblegum Klutz.)

Q: Do you have any tips for other Wattpad writers?

A: Be you within your words. Make sure you know the ending of the book before you start it, so you create different scenarios in your head of what's to come, how people will react, basically what will happen. A plot is a very important thing. But other than that, just have fun and express how your feeling, convey what you feel, make your readers feel what you feel withing your writing. Whether your conflicted, bad, good, adventurous. Express it.
