I was finally back at school. It's not like I wanted to be since I didn't have Ethan with me still. I thought maybe by fighting with the three people that scared him the most, he would at least thank me, but he didn't. I received dirty looks as I walked into my next class, wishing that I had a class with Tyler.

"Good morning, (___)." Mr. Barnes said, looking up from his laptop. "Glad to have you back. Why don't you take a seat?"

I noticed Mark and Felix in the very back of the room, the only open desk in front of them. Oh of course they come back the same day I did. I sighed and mentally cursed myself for not getting here sooner.

I focused the whole time in class. Not once did I say anything or turn around to look at Felix and Mark. That is, until the familiar feeling of a paper ball hitting me returned. I groaned and turned to glare at the two boys behind me. My expression softened almost instantly, noticing the looks on their faces.

Mark pointed to the rolled up paper that was now on my desk. He tilted his head and whispered. "Please."

Furrowing my eyebrows, I turned back around, staring at the paper. I slowly picked it up and just held it in my hands for a long moment. Reluctantly, I opened it.

We're sorry for everything we've done
                                          -Mark and Felix

I stared at the paper wide eyed. Honestly, I didn't know how to react. It could have just been one of their stupid jokes, but I wanted more than anything to believe then. So I did.

The bell rang and I got up, turning around to the two of them. "Is this for real?"

They looked at each other then nodded, Felix's eyes meeting mine. "Really, we're tired of it. It's not like it's getting anywhere."

"Plus I'm tired of getting beat up." Mark laughed.

I couldn't help but join in. I almost felt at ease around them now, like we were actually friends. "It's about time you two came to your senses."

I sent Tyler a quick text before grabbing all of my stuff. The three of us walked out of the classroom together. I waved to Tyler when I saw him, him coming over. Tyler raised his eyebrows at the sight of them next to me. "What's happening?"

"Making things right." I said.

"What about Sean?" Felix questioned, noticing the boy at the water fountain.

"I think it's about time we put an end to his bullshit."

Mark and Felix exchanged nervous glances. But as soon as I started walking to Sean, they ran to keep up with me. Hearing footsteps behind him, Sean turned around.

"Whats this? Are we about to have a gangbang?" He laughed, slowly stopping when neither Mark or Felix joined in.

"Whats this?" Mark began, looking at me, then back to Sean. "This is us telling you its time to back off."

Sean gave a confused expression. He signalled to me as he spoke. "Huh? Did she do something to you two?"

"No, we made this choice on our own." Felix said.

"Sean, it's time for you to leave Ethan alone." Tyler began.

Sean crossed his arms and stifled a laugh. "It's not like you're gonna do anything."

"They might not be able to, but I can."

We all turned our heads, seeing Ms. Nelson standing in front of us. Sean's expression changed from smug to scared. Tyler and I smiled at one another and fist-bumped.

"Thanks, Tyler." I whispered.

Mark raised an eyebrow. "Why are you thanking him."

I held up my phone. "I told him to get her."

Sean bit his lip and stared at Ms. Nelson. "I haven't done anything wrong, Ms. Nelson."

"Actually," she tilted her head and gave Sean a doubtful look. "You've bullied many students, you beat up a student outside of school, and you pulled the fire alarm." Sean looked to all of us who were standing with pleased expressions. He couldn't say anything, he was at a loss for words. Ms. Nelson continued speaking. "I thought all my students had potential, but clearly there is one that doesn't. I regret my decision of just suspending, and I hate to do this, Sean. But you know what they say, three strikes and you're out."

I couldn't help but smile when Ms. Nelson said this. Everything was fine now. All I had to do was make things right with Ethan.
