[Chapter: 3]

Day three.

My conscious was eating me alive.

I still feel terrible about what happened yesterday, even it it actually felt good or not.

What is wrong with me.

If he tells anyone what happened all those years of school and training could be for no reason.

I sigh, as I drive to the headquarters.

I have to face that Sartorius guy again and today I have to get some info from him. I know he knows something.

"Penelope." I hear as I snap out of my work.

I look up and it was my boss, Mr.Brown.

"Yes sir?" I gulp.

"I was just coming to inform you that Mr. Sartorius is ready for you & that I will be needing some kind of feedback at the end of the day." He says, sternly.

"Of course sir, I'll give you some news right after this session." I say, nervously.

"Great, I will see you later." He says, right after exiting.

I sigh as I gather my things for the session.

I better something new, anything.

I head over to the room that he was waiting in.

"Good morning Mr. Sartorius." I say awkwardly.

"Mornin' sunshine, you look even prettier when it early." He says, not taking eyes off me.

"Thank you for the compliment, but there is no need for any nonsense today." I state.

I mean, he kinda looked cutter in the morning too, his hair was messy & his voice was very low.

Enough.

"You mean like the last time? Because that wasn't nonsense that was se.."

"Enough!" I say, bluntly.

"Okay okay." He surrendered.

"Now I really need you to cooperate with me today, because I need something out of you... anything, if u don't then I could possibly be fired." I confessed.

Maybe that'll make him spill something.

"Alright I do have something." He says in serious tone.

"Great, now what is it?" I ask, as I reach for my notepad & pencil.

"But under one condition." He smirks.

I huff.

"I'm not doing anything with you." I said, firmly.

"Just a kiss." He shrugged.

Is he trying to get me fired?

"Absolutely not." I said, crossing my arms.

"I actually like my job, & I dont want to get fired."

"Oh come on, no one wouldn't even find out & I know you wanna kiss me." He winks.

His lips were soft & gentle, I kinda did want to..

What am I saying?

Then again he would be giving some details about this murder which could help me.

"So..." he says, his voice filling the quiet room.

"You better have some juice details." I reply.

"I do, I do." He grins as I unsteadily walk over to him.

"And just a quick peck nothing mor..."

"Alright, alright, shut up and kiss me already." He says, as he pulls me onto his lap & crashes our lips together.

They move in sync as my fingers tangle in his fluffy hair.

He then shoves his tongue into my mouth as the kiss grows more passionate.

Our tongues danced around for a few seconds, until I finally pulled away.

"That was not a peck!" I yelled as I stood up and fixed my dress.

"But you liked it." He shot back.

He was right.

I sat down and grabbed my notepad and pencil once again.

"Details... spit it." I said.

"You don't waist time do you?" He asks, as he wipes my lipstick from his lips.

"Stop stalling." I say, getting frustrated.

"Okay okay."

"Pablo Garcia was friends my father. I don't really know him, but I knew my dad worked for him for a long period time until he died."

I wrote all these things down as he talked.

"And how exactly did your Father die?" I ask.

"He um... was in a car accident." He said, quietly.

I felt bad, I know how it is, not actually being able to say goodbye. My father died in a car crash when I was younger.

"I'm sorry for you lost." I say sympathetically.

"Thanks, but that's all I know. He says.

"Okay, you're off the hook to today, but I know you know something else." I say standing up.

"Whatever." He responds.

I gather my things, I was about to go give this new info to Mr. Brown.

"Wait." I hear Jacob say.

"I can't have a hug at least before you leave?" He asks.

"Goodbye Jacob." I laugh as I leave.

That guy is someone else.
